I felt so bad stealing from all the poor little frogs lol.
Nice short game! Like taking flies from a toad... actually though it was pretty fun. I think it could be cool if each frog had a different mini game. Maybe something to expand on after the jam. Nice job for you first jam!

I'm glad I played this. This right here is my kind of humor. Really liked the spacebar to steal mechanic but I thought it was kinda weird that the line went off the bar. Other than that this is amazing!

Congrats on your first game game entry! Of course, there are many things that could be improved, but its a good start. Maybe try to work on fixing the UI of the minigame next? And I think it would be easy to vary the speed of the sliders, so that it doesn't feel all the same.

What a cute game haha. Good job on your successful first ever game jam! I could tell you already have the basics down, and you just keep on improving through experience now. My feedback would be to improve the movement first as it is the first thing the player notices with 2D sidescrollers. But overall, great job!

Here's some feedback.
Okay, bringing flies to take the bone and spending them is the theme interepretation here... That's it, in my opinion this is really weak :(.
The gameplay is okay, though the platforming is a bit jank and maybe unecessary... The minigame is nothing really special.
Audio is cool, no sfx though.
Art is quite nice but some of the things don't display properly (minigame) or seem mismatched....
The game does not have a lot of polish, but it's simple enough so it's fine.

Also with the theme there is the cost of stealing from the little frogs when they need the flies to feed their family! :)

I like the art, and that he's on a skateboard lol. Some sound effects would really transform this though imo, that alone could be a good indication of if you get a fly or not for example.

Super awesome for a first jam, and a nice little loop. A little indication when a fly is taken or when to press E would be nice, but for the time frame I am impressed. Well done.

The dialogue while stealing from the frogs is a nice touch. Game play wise, I like the clear direction and the win condition, the goal is very clear from the beginning. I think you put together a nice little cast of characters that makes this one memorable!

Congrats on your first jam! this is brilliant for a first time!
I enjoyed the funny dialogue and I think having to steal the flies to save up for the bone, is a funny use of theme. The artwork is nice too and lends itself to the comedic tone of the game. I also liked the addition of the little mini game for stealing the flies I think that was a nice touch!
The controls felt a bit odd though I'm not sure what's going on, if I press jump and walk at the same time, they seem to cancel each other out so it was a bit awkward to jump across the platforms.
