Final bounty of $15500. Really impressive polish, and an enjoyable game. Good work!
Ahh I love the juice in this game! My team's entry was something similar, but we did not get to the juice like you did. The explosive FX looks really good and all the UI animation is good!
So fun! Everything just felt so good. Like shooting felt good, my speed running felt good, dashing (especially with the lil rolling animation) felt good. Picking up and assigning items for powerups was great. I had a blast with your game!
high quality stuff
very fun time. The controls feel great and the graphics are readable and easy to understand. Nice pacing as well It was nice to see the enemy variety over time. I did experience minor lag every time a new effect would play for the first time. I have a similar issue in my game I'll be looking into. Didn't stop me from having a good time :)
A really tight gaming experience, nice work! The juice in this game is great, the shooting sfx, the enemy death animations, and to a certain extent the screen shake / screen movement with the mouse (though it was a little too much for me at times). A super fun little shooter game though!
very cool and addicting game, got 19000 score, though quite fast, but that is normal for such games XD
damn explosive bounty bastards! congrats, this is a fun little game, well executed :)
Awesome game!! Looks and sounds great, super chunky hits, and really enjoyed the gameplay and progression. As someone who also made a revolver chamber UI this jam, I have to say yours is the best I've seen!
Found it a bit difficult to keep track of the upgrades, and for me the camera movement felt a little shaky following the mouse around, but overall I very much enjoyed it! Nice one!
Very cool visuals and SFX. The gameplay is fun and engaging, the only issue is that sometimes there are some random freezes.
I beffed it too much!
I loved the SFX and the characters.
Found it hard to manage the inventory, not gonna lie: it took me some time to understand how to make things work there. I would have appreciated more feedback on enemies being present off-screen and directions where to go, generally it was hard to understand the objective.
Good entry!
Excellent sfx! I found it a bit awkward managing the inventory off to the side with not much time to read what the items do, though that did add to how hectic the combat feels. Pretty unique reload mechanic, it would be super cool if you added some effects like flaming/explosive bullets as pickups to load into the revolver!
Great entry :)
Really cool game! Graphics are nice, enemy varieties are really interesting! The collection radius on pickups should definitely be larger though, there were times where I walked right over the pickup and I couldn't collect it. Holding R to reload messes up movement a bunch also, since I can't comfortably use the WASD keys while holding R to reload. Next time try to put in rebinds in the game, that would help a lot. Other than those things, really awesome game!
Cheers for trying it out.
Sorry, should jave clarified it in the game, its just a tap of the R button to reload, you dont need to hold down R to keep reloading.
