Love an underwater game and the atmosphere was great!, I find it really considerate that the crew made sure to drop some air in a cave to reward exploration lol, some suggestion I think will fit if you keep updating: a stealth mechanic similar to assassins creed black flag where you can hide in seaweed to escape sharks and maybe collectables like treasure from a shipwreck
Those are great ideas, when the jam is over I might expand the game a bit just for fun. Thank you for playing!
The contrast of realxing swimming with the fishes in the warm blue water and then having to dive deeper was cool. It got tense when the music stop and it got dark. I also found a cave when I dared to go explore a bit. I like that there was a minimap that helped me and also seeing the repair progress on the cable itself was nice. Good job!
You were the first one to discover the cave :) I wanted to do so much more with this but happy to have finished in time. Thanks for playing!
Its not enough challenging, but its cozy and enjoyable. I love underwater game, the atmosphere is unique and homey. Good work, it must have been fun to make!
I ran out of time but enjoyed creating what was there, it was a fun experience but also not as much fun under pressure :) Thanks for playing!
Oh I understand. Every single mechanic takes lots of work. At least we become better prepared each time!
The music works well with the casual style of the game. Overall, the graphics looks good, and the ocean plant looks cool. The game has so much potential. Probably adding mechanism such as clearing debris, removing some ocean plant that gets in the way of the repair work or may be having the oxygen tank actually sinking down slowly and the player have to swim towards it before the sharks come damaging it could add some pressure to the player. Subnautica could be a good reference I think. But I think the game is really cool!
Thank you, I had a lot planned but ran into some difficulties and had to remove some (I had sharks but couldn't get their behaviour quite right). I might fix some of those after the jam but ran out of time before submissions ended :)
I can totally see myself playing this kind of atmospheric experience, with a bit of polish, sound… Nice work!
Thank you for playing! I will consider polishing it a bit more after the jam :)
Neat atmospheric experience! Wish there was a bit more sound effects and ambiance with that, and also interested in how the mini map actually functioned, I noticed the ground was constantly changing in it and it even went completely black as I was nearing the end of the game. Overall a nice submission though!
Thank you for playing! The mini map was supposed to use the ocean floor as a guide and show only a bit of it at a time, with the larger map showing the whole ocean floor. There are some issues with it, but didn't have time before submission to iron those out :)
This is a pretty cool game! Its clear exactly what you are supposed to do and the feedback when repairing a cable (the sfx) is satisfying. Underwater movement feels good too. I think it would be cool if there was a bit more to do such as connecting cables after repairing them. Overall nice job!
Thanks for playing, and I agree, I think having more to do would have been interesting, and also I had some sharks that were just a bit too enthusiastic to be included so it ended up being more of a chill game.
It is a nice game with a lot of potential. One can see where you are heading with it, but it needs some work regarding sound/graphics and especially game play as it does get tiresome to just repair the line and catch oxygen without any obstacles, e.g., fighting some enemies, before getting it. Congrats on the entry to the jam!
Yeah, I had greater plans but not enough time, had to remove the sharks waiting in the depths :) But thank you for playing!

Need some Angler fish down there :D Pleasant game, great job. Got to the boat in 12 mins.
Thank you for playing!
There's a few bits I wasn't too keen on, but overall it is a well built game.
Everything works as you would expect it to, no bugs or problems were experienced in the playing of this game.
As for the bits I didn't enjoy so much, the gameplay is a bit repetitive, and goes on for too long. While there's a bit of variation in the sea bed, nothing really seems to happen while you're swimming along for nearly 10 minutes hugging the bottom.
That isn't to say I don't see the work that has gone into the game, everything seems pretty tidy as far as the development, the artwork is pleasant, and the music is as well.
Thanks for the game.
I agree with it being too long, I had a lot planned but ran out of time so now it's a swimming simulator :) But thanks for giving it a try!
This game has a lot of potential! I would've loved to see a little suspense music when the oxygen is low and a bit more difficulty! Awsome work tho!
Thank you for playing! When I started planning this, the oxygen was scarce, there were sharks and so the player died often. But my level is pretty large and I thought that would be frustrating and discourage jam player from trying to reach the end.
Very nice! I would add a time limit and allow the swimmer to swim faster but at the cost of losing oxygen faster. The graphics are top notch! Also enjoyed how the music changed, nice touch!
Thanks, and a time limit could work well, for now I have a kind of beat your own best time :)
sickk game! I love the simplicity of it but I find the game too easy. I feel like there could've been stakes especially in the lower depths. When you turned off the music and made it much darker, I was actually lowkey a bit tense expecting something coming out but turns out there's nothing (which can be good but in this case, I feel like adding some sort of horror aspect would've been awesome)! Other than that, still an awesome game though!
Great work on the game! I repaired all 40 cables. I felt like the game would have been a pretty good horror game at the lower depths. Might have added a little more excitement when you see a shark and you need to turn off your light while it is in the area. But overall, it was a good effort!
I actually had sharks in the game, more than one type, but couldn't get the behavior just right so I left them out. Since my level is pretty long I didn't want the player short changed by being randomly killed by a shark when they are halfway through the level. I like the depths as well and would have loved to do more with that, maybe after the jam is finished. Thanks for playing!
Great game, controls are fluid and the map is nice for tracking the cable fixes along the way. I really like the light and deep water components of your ocean. A few recommendations in order to break up the repetitiveness everyone is talking about, I know time was of the essence, but perhaps the cable could feed through or over obstacles. Perhaps the O2 tanks could be in these obstacles, forcing the player to check out all the work you've put into your oceans background and breaking up the linear feel. Just suggestions, I really thought this game was great either way, good job on everything.
Thanks for playing, and great suggestions! Some I had initially planned but ran out of time, I also kind of made the level a bit too big and so didn't have time to populate the world as much as I would have liked.
A little repetitive but overall good. Great work
I think it's a really good idea, just need to break up the repitition somehow. Great job
I also made it a bit too long of a level, lessons learned for next time. Thanks for playing!
Underwater games fascinate me. Nice take on the theme. A bit repetitive, but that also makes it quite relaxing. Kudos!
Yeah, I had so much planned that didn't make it, so had to scale down to the one mechanic.
That was relaxing :)
Thank you for playing! I rated your game yesterday but forgot to comment on here. There were sharks originally but they misbehaved so it turned into a more relaxing game than originally intended.
Thank you! And dont worry about comments. I'm trying my best to play and rate as many games as possible, though I'm still working on my commenting skills! :(
With so many unique entries in the jam, it's always a challenge to give each game enough time to fully analyze everything and leave a truly deep review. But I'm glad we both had a chance to play each other games :)
