This is a fun time, I really like the art style you went with, and hanging/grappling mechanic was really fun! I clipped through the wall once, but other than that, greate time with this!!
I saw a fellow Yo-Yo game and HAD to give it a try!
I loved the art-style and the mechanics seemed really fun, but the spinning was a little broken for me, the spin wouldn't exactly follow the mouse so it took me a while to even get out of the tutorial area.
But, overall great game!
Very good artstyle, very creative idea! The audio was also fitting. Too bad the game broke frequently and i phased through the ground
great game, reminded me a lot of unravel
This was a super great idea, and the aesthetics did a great job of carrying on the theme! I thought the premise was very creative. There were a couple of places where I fell out of bounds or phased through a wall and lost progress, but the concept itself was very fun! Great work!
I got stuck in a wall during pin jump and had to start from the beginning :( Despite that I enjoyed the game!
I wish I could just look at the scenery and the background!! Very beautiful work :) I also managed to shoot myself into a wall and get stuck hehe. Interesting concept!
The jumping felt a little unresponsive, and the movement also felt a little strange on certain slopes, but the launching from clicking felt awesome! I absolutely adored the color scheme and vibes, huge tottomori fan myself, although I had to just listen to it on youtube and mute the tab since I was running into massive audio issues in the game itself (likely low end hardware). Overall, a super cute entry with a strong visual style and a lot of charm! I'll be recommending this one.
Pretty fun idea, a little hard to control. I feel like having the game play entirely with my mouse except for jumping was a bit weird, I think I would have preferred to use LMB for jumping and RMB for latching onto a pin. Eventually got stuck in the ground and softlocked, but until then, I enjoyed my time.
Very fun mechanics! I like how well you can control the yoyo by spinning your mouse around it a cool idea.
I had 3 "issues" Firstly the game had no fullscreen button so I had to play in the itch page which was a bit weird as the window was very big.
Secondly the collisions had problems and I got stuck in the ground twice but when you are going that fast I guess collisions might be hard to work correctly.
Thirdly im not sure if I missed content but once I got to the computer that said promotion I couldnt find any more paths or anywhere else to go.
Very cool idea!!!
I found this pretty fun and find the artstyle sweet, how the red yo-yo sticks out in the green corporateness, just wish we could've had more control over how we want to angle ourselves when preparing to release the pin, because I was stuck at that bottom part where you fall down for quite a while, but I got used to the timing.
Pretty solid movement, feels good building up speed and chaining pin jumps into each other! The visuals are some of the best I've seen yet!
Apart from the clipping issues that have already been mentioned, there's only two things I don't like:
-Game window is very big. Too big for my screen to fit, in fact. I tried zooming the page out, but that breaks mouse position in this game.
-Pins are biased in one direction? At first I thought it was intentional design to automatically adjust where you need to go, but some of them are biased towards pulling you the opposite way you're meant to go, so I either couldn't figure out the intent behind this mechanic or it's a bug. Not sure.
Thank you for playing <3
You're right, the game window is an issue, it's just automatically 1920x1080. The problem was that if I toggled clicking for full screen on itcg, the start button stopped working... That's why I had to work around that. And yeah, the oin movement can sometimes be biased when there's more than one pin nearby hehe. These two things would defenitely be adressed first if we ever take the time to work on this again.
Cool game! It reminds me of Sonic, but you can also swing around as a yo-yo. Phasing through walls can happen when the physics speed gets too high, but checkpoints are one way to help solve that issue.
Very very beautiful art and I like the computer too! Only issuse is that you could make some checkpoints and maybe add a reset button that puts you at the last checkpoint but good game tho
very fun flinging around the yoyo!! i made it to the end, but i had some issues with phasing through walls at some points. overall well done, very cool game!
Rreally cool theme interpretation. Unfortuntately, I got stuck outside the platforms soon after the tutorials section but this is a cool game, good job!
I loved the art (the pinwheel hat was a great touch!) and the movement mechanic was fun & creative! However, the game opened really large on my screen, so parts of it were cut off, and it lagged and stuttered very badly. My computer doesn't normally have any issues with games, and I tried several things on my end to try to get it to work, but no luck. Since other commenters seemed to have been able to play it without issue, it may have been just my setup, but I wanted to mention it.
Thank you for the feedback! I noticed the issue with the size aswell, not sure what causes it.
Had a lot of fun playing this, the movement felt very satisfying especially when you chain multiple pins together. Really liked the art style. Did have a few issues where I'd clip through the walls but overall a very solid entry.
That's sutch a cool movement mechanic. Took me a while to get the hang of the pins, but when I did it was awesome, sometimes I got stuck behind walls, but that's to be expected :D. Super game
Strong entry.
The game was presented very nicely with a good artistic style. Some novel mechanics that fit the theme well and were genuinely fun to play around with. Often physics platformers can feel frustrating, but this wasn't. I was expecting to miss some pin latches at times but they always stuck, so well done on getting the feel right. Nice job!
hell yeah, thank you so much! <3
