Loved the design for this game and the voice acting. i did however have a problem when starting the game where all audio was corrupted, not sure if its my shitty laptop tho lol. Overall great game and impressive for the short time frame!
Friggin loved the level design and all the abilities you unlock and little costume changes for each so cool and voice acting as well
this is it , this is the game that wins the jam , its just perfect dude , 5 stars on all , well deserved , amazing job !
That's so sweet, thank you!!!! I'm really glad the game resonated that much with you, haha
the aesthetics of this one were IMPECCABLE
THANK YOU YAYYYYYYY
I loved the style of this one! I thought the level design was really good, and it was very satisfying to use the upgrades. The difficulty was just right, and I enjoyed exploring the map. Great game!
Thank you so much!! I'm really glad you enjoyed!!
This is the best I'm played so far! It felt really great to acquire all the tools we could obtain through the wheel. The mastery of the tools was also a great challenge! I loved that some of the puzzles requiered to switch between two! (like the builder and the small one). The magnet one was the best by far!!! I felt SO sneaky and great just avoiding danger and collecting coins by sliding on the roof!!! The gun one was funny too! The color palette is well-chosen! The story of the mouse made me emotional and determined to finish the game! The only bad point I have is that the mouse's voice is a bit hard to understand with the robotic effect (but I'm not a native english speaker, so maybe that's why). Congrats, I loved it!!!
I PLAYED FOR 45 MINUTES!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Congrats on getting the best ending in the game, I may have made it too lengthy of a process haha. I've had a few complaints about the robotic voice being hard to hear, the initial plan was to have subtitles alongside it, but I unfortunately ran out of time. But I really do appreciate all the compliments!!!! Thank you so much for playing till the end, that means a lot!
I really had the survival of the poor mouse family at heart 😂🥺But it was really good I was really surprised when I converted the seconds to minutes to find out my playing time 😂
This is so so so cute!!! I love the art and voice acting. It's super charming and fun to play as well. Amazing work!!
YAYYYYY THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I couldn't play normally in the browser because after 5 minutes of playing the game it fully froze
NOOOOOO DANG IT I'll try updating it after the (rat)ing period is over, but hey I'm glad you gave the game a chance!!
"This is the first real game jam I participated in". Well, for a first jam game I have to say this is outstanding! A very good exploration of the theme of the jam, and the game looks very polished with a whole set of abilities to use, a large world to explore and its own signature comics-inspired artstyle.
The level design is awesome and even if I stopped before I could get any cheese, I really enjoyed hunting for all those hard-to-reach coins. I don't know how big the world actually is but if it's not so big, maybe make the first piece of cheese obtainable sooner. It felt inconsistent having half of the abilities unlocked and no piece of cheese out of five.
The original voiceover is a feature rarely seen in this type of games, it shows lots of effort put in, and if it wasn't for an audio glitch that made the sound break down and distort for me, I would have played this for much longer!
Thank you so much!! That's actually some pretty good advice, the world is about 30 or so rooms in total (not that huge), so I definitely could've made a "tutorial cheese". And aw man, apologies for the audio issues, I tried testing it so it worked on as many devices as possible but I guess I wasn't thorough enough, haha. Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed!!
Pretty cool game! I love the artstyle and I love the voice acting and also the look at the mouse (especially the start lol). I wished the sections have some checkpoints tho since I kept dying and I kinda suck at this game xD. The sound effects are cool and the mechanics are also quite creative! Awesome work!
Haha yeah that's completely fair, I may have made a game a tad unforgiving in that sense. Still, thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
A really solid game! The art style is really good. I did feel like the voice acting kinda took away from the game at times, but it was still a super good game! This needs more ratings!!!
Thank you so much!! That's a fair critique of the game, but I'm still glad you enjoyed!!
Spinning with the jetpack has gotta be one of the most satisfying things ever. If your reading this you HAVE to try it
THANK YOU SO MUCH MY GOAT
Artwork and level design are amazing. I like how you can unlock abilities that give you more access to the map / make it easier to deal with enemies.
Thank you thank you!! I appreciate it greatly!
11/10, I LOVED this game, it's so charming!! I am such a fan
Thank you so much!!! I poured a lot into this game, so that means a lot
Loved the artwork and the level design, the voicelines were an interesting touch as well!
Good job!
Thank you so much!! The voice lines were an idea I had day 1 to make the game more "serious", haha
Art looks great however wasd or arrow keys doesn’t seem to work for me. Running on Firefox. The game responds to some inputs, for instance Z/shift to start on the main screen worked no problem. Just ingame wasd/arrows don’t do anything. E (swap abilities) seems to work ingame.
If it gets fixed I’ll give it another go :)
Edit: thanks for the fix, I edited my ratings!
Issue has been fixed!! There's a tutorial at the beginning where you have to bring up and down the wheel menu, but then movement should be enabled!
