MUSIC IS INCREDIBLE! The game is too but wow, the music is great! Visually it’s quite nice also, I love how many options and things are available to place down. The laundromat tycoon gameplay is nice. Spinning laundry is a good take on the theme. And, of course, running a laundromat is VERY SERIOUS. Excellent Work!

That was lovely!!! I could totally see this being a full game with like different areas to unlock to start new laundromats with slightly different layouts and such! This whole thing was great!

The artstyle was adorable, the whole experience was super polished and smooth! absolutely fantastic!

I'm so impressed by this game.  It feels professional, and it's amazing to think that it was done in a week!  The art and music were great, and they went together really nicely.  The sound effects were minimal but nice.  The UI was easy to navigate and understand, and the game does a great job of teaching itself; the customer feedback and timers and everything are all super easy to understand, and the UI is really stylish, too!  The progression through the days was fast but fair.  I felt like I just barely made it through (hit 4 stars only after day 8 and then 5 stars after day 9).

Such a fun game.  Amazing job!

Great game, the art is amazing. it gave cozy vibes that a person would want to play after a tiring day.

max rating, such a polished experience, liked the serious mode, you can release this game, many people would buy it!

this is a lovely cozy feel :D feels very cohesive for a jam game

This is fantastic!! Very cute very compelling to play, I like that decorating was rewarded as well as efficiency (I'm a player who won't decorate unless incentivized and found myself thinking 'I need more cute plants NOW')

Excellent and fun :) delight

This is great! All of the art was very cute. I had a great time.

Placing and moving objects was easy except for floor tiles near the object selection menu. And, trying to repair the floor or wall with the same tile type was slightly difficult. I was uncertain some times if I had already selected a marketing campaign. After going back in to the marketing menu, I wish it showed me what I'd purchased. I also wish that people sat down on the chairs I put out.

This is so cozy and adorable, I love it!

I think I may have encountered a bug though: The reputation counter at the top would only show the last 2 digits of the number for some reason. No problem though, since it was always displayed correctly at the end of the day in the report.

This game is amazing! Super cute art, great sounds and music!

I hope there is going to be a full game of this! I really enjoyed it! I don't have a single critique. Just a job well done!

lord this game is too cute for me,… dies on the spot from overwhelming cuteness :,)

its super fun! I had alot of enjoyment in making my own lil laundromat, I think its amazing how much yall were able to accomplish in only a week-long development span, huge congrats to all your hard work ^_^

Omg I had so much fun! It reminded me of all tycoon games I used to play in the browser when I was little. The game looked great, it felt great and it played even better. A job well done, big congrats!

This excels in so many ways.  I love the art style its very cohesive and allows for a lot of expression.  Curiosity is rewarded like when you find out you can stack plants and baskets on top of things.  Really fun and creative interpretation of the theme.  Amazing amount to accomplish during a game jam.  great game well done!!

Aww thank you so much for the lovely comment! When discussing decorating, we both agreed that having items be placeable on top of stuff was mandatory - too often have I played a game and been thwarted in my goal of decorating to my heart's content by awkward placing requirements! <3

It's sadly not immediately obvious from the instructions, but you can also place wall art higher/lower on the wall by using the keys you'd normally use to rotate furniture. ;) Insider tip for only the most hardcore launderette decorators!

This project definitely speaks through its visuals. Your art is the center piece of this game, and its great art. The game play loop was quiet simple while still being fun, but I think little things could elevate this to feel more game-y. Things like having the little dudes be able to sit on chairs  or even demand chairs if there aren't any. Have them comment on the wall art or lack there of, as well as the flora, and maybe even include ways to keep customers in the launderette for longer (like a very expensive arcade machine). I didn't feel super inclined to push past the 9th day but I felt very inclined to decorate the place to my hearts content!

This is such great feedback, thank you so much! I completely agree with you about having the customers interact with the space more, the only reason it's not in there is just due to the time constraints of the jam. We totally wanted them to sit down, chat, drink coffee, and comment on decorative choices, and if we decide to keep working on this game after the jam, it's definitely on our agenda to add some sort of customer needs balancing system <3

I really like games like this!
I thoroughly enjoyed it and I kept playing past day 9, that's how much I loved it! The visuals and style are super cute and I got super engrossed in decorating/playing. Really nice job!

Seeing that some folks enjoyed it so much that they played it beyond the 'official' last day honestly is the ultimate praise, so thank you for sharing :') <3

Loved the music and art. Usually not one for idle games but I played this to the end, loved seeing the business come back to life!

Hey! I didn't realise you'd played my game, too! Laundry devs, unite! (✿◠‿◠)

Great game! Felt drawn in the whole time!

Loved designing my shop and thinking about the best layout to not keep anyone waiting! Took me about 4 in-game days to figure out how to get to the end of the shop options, but that might just be a skill issue on my part, LOL!

Developer(+1)

Oh no! I just realised that we probably should have put a little arrow or something (◕︿◕✿) At least you found it in the end, but sorry our UI oversight delayed your launderette beautification!

that was very good and cute, lovely music, and it's very satisfying to watch all these pixelated customers do their laundry.
