This is insanely well done, the spinning! the serious!

I commented yesterday on ur game page, cause it really marked me when I played it, and only now I realised that the name is a the office reference XD

This game is undeniably high quality so nearly full marks across the board.

Some things I or others might struggle with:

- I wish orange and blue had different shapes to them (wavey orange or something)

- Green and purple swipes, one requiring a button press and not the other but the only difference is colour makes it hard to learn to associate quickly on the fly which is which without doing a bunch of practice

- Red arrows on green background will be bad for those that are colour blind

- It's not perfectly clear at what point near the record in the middle you need to press exactly, but it is rather forgiving in the timing

- If you miss a note the loss of combo is a huge loss of points, which is fine but even getting 2 stars on very easy seems like a high bar for some reason. It'd make sense to be that strict on higher amounts of stars but for the lower stars on lower difficulties you would think you'd quickly get to 2 and struggle to get to 3 or what have you. Want players to feel like they're accomplishing something and getting better as early as possible rather than having to spend 60minutes or whatever to just get 2 stars on an "Easy" one could be demotivating

Thanks so much for the feedback! I had a lot of fun watching you play on stream and was really happy with how much you liked it! Will definitely keep these in mind for the future!

i love rhythm games, but this still got me tripped up. the last song was so hard! music is incredible, and i like how the idea of "scratching" discs as a DJ turned into the DJ being a cat. so fun, so serious

I absolutely love rhythm games and I loved DJ Hero back in the day too. I thought it would give me some kind of advantage... it did not. I was immediately humbled by this game's difficulty.

This was so well done, congrats!

Even though I horrible at rhythm games, I stayed for the banner tracks. How did you guys implement the audio visualization? This is something that I've been trying to do for web but haven't had success. Anyways, great game!

The art and the tracks are next level! Really enjoyed the rhythm game. I definitely need to practice a bit to get in the groove.

Bro insane game!!!

I was initally blown away by the artistic presentation, but also the game is so well done! Too bad I suck at rythm games 😭

Thanks so much for playing it on stream!

Holyyy, this is art! Awesome!

It's quite hard for the first level (or its probably my skill issue). Anyways, nice polished game.

Glad you enjoyed our music, we worked very hard.

It was really fitting everything of the jam. A serious spin game on the core with good visuals and art!

So SERIOUS!!! This was an absolutely out of this world entry. So well done in execution of gameplay, visuals, music, just everything. It feels more like an upcoming game demo than it does a game jam entry, and I have never really been drawn to this genre of games but I had an absolute blast playing through all the soundtracks. The tracks themselves were a blast, and djing as a cat just cant be beat. Seriously well done and an inspiring entry :)

So fun!!! I love rhythm games so this was very much enjoyable. Very cool concept!

as a rhythm game enjoyer this was a blast to play. you guys even managed to make a custom charting system. though im also surprised theres no audio calibration setting.

this would work so well as an arcade rhythm game or even on mobile

This game is insane, that you managed to pull this off in just a week is mind blowing. 5 stars across the board!

This was really well done! I think my only wish, and this seems difficult to design and not compromise the art, is an easier reminder of which button is which color note. Games like DJMAX or Guitar Hero (and to some extent Spin Rhythm) have the notes in order of how you are physically holding the controller. Since everything is symmetric here it isn't a difficult problem to solve and the blue and orange buttons helped a bit but I was wondering if there was more that could be done! I say this because I love when all of that melts away in a rhythm game and you are in the zone; it's a great feeling and you guys for sure have that going on here. Bravo!
