This is such a fun game, I was only planning to spend a small amount of time on it, and then I look down and i have been spinning for an hour. Neat little concept and very polished! well done!
THIS IS SO FUN!! the visuals and audio are amazing, and this is fueling my gambling addiction lmao. its super fun to play, and can get super stressful at times when spins are low.
yoo thanks for playing the game, very happy that you enjoyed it :))
Enjoyment: It was nice, but I didn’t understand when the ending was coming. Since there’s a lot of information on the screen but there are few labels, or they’re not descriptive/clear enough, I struggled to understand what each of them meant, and which one was the final goal (because “target” sure wasn’t it, since it kept increasing).
Creativity: There are other games about gambling. One thing I like about this one is it’s completely nuts in terms of visuals and music and the little dog boss. However creative artwork shouldn’t come at the expense of health and safety, which is also one of the reasons why I am giving the “visuals” only 3 stars.
Visuals: They’re cute and crazy and and that’s fun. What I think is I would like to see settings to let people play with safer visuals. So…
In terms of other accessibility things with the visuals:
Seriousness: The upgrade confusion I had (not understanding what the reroll meant, not understanding what the final goal is, how investors work, there these things ended up adding up a little bit to lower the rating to 3 starts, but yeah I think overall it’s a fun game.
Combos feel nice, and number go up! 10/10
I had a little trouble understanding what number I landed on when a lot of wedges were added. I wish it was a little more difficult :) but I enjoyed playing
numbers going up is all we need boss B)
for that problem that's why i added a text saying "you got something X" cuz i noticed that problem yeah
i didn't have enough playtesters to help me to know what to balance and therefore make the game more challenging but keeping it fun
but glad you enjoyed it :)
Very cool game ,
I loved it personally , i started with the worst luck of all time and first 2 games i only got 1x but then i got 2x and 5x and at that point i started upgrading the non risky upgrades and added another 10x and a 100x and a 20x and another 20x and i was becoming so rich and i choose double bet amount upgrade and life was so good and i won i continued in endless mode and i gambled oh i love gambling and then i got 240 billion but max bet amount was 2 billion so i lost
Very peak , also lowk gives an undertale / deltarune vibes , especially that dog
Very peak game and i enjoyed it
yessir glad you enjoyed gambling like a real boss B)
yes the luck can be a lil bad but once you get a good run going it gets really interesting ;) ;)
and yes once you reach the max bet amount you gotta start rely more on upgrades, and yeah i felt the urge to include the annoying dog as the accountant to the game XD
Decent game, a bit like ours but the numbers get a lot crazier. Great job on the sound effects!
thanks for playing it, glad you liked the "mouth made" sfx lmao XD
Good game! But I didn’t feel like I was in much control…
The shop options all felt high risk, high reward for me and as someone who likes to play neutral, I had to depend on luck quite a lot… Maybe it’s just a skill issue though!
yo thanks for playing the game, how exactly you felt you weren't in much control, cuz i thought the upgrades job was doing just that lol, and yes "most" of the upgrades are high risk high reward, but i did include some ones that are neutral, maybe you just didn't come across them :') like one of the most op ones imo is the extra spin, which is pretty neutral tbf lol
Just did another playthrough where I tried my best to utilize the shop. Even took up a few things that had a decent risk. Getting more money was easier, but I lost because I rolled “x1” 7 out of 8 times… Even with good money management, I ran out of spins.
Maybe I could’ve utilized some upgrade that would’ve helped me survive for longer, but the run was kinda dead after the 7th “x1” spin. This was despite the fact that I had quite a few positive slices added to the wheel from the shop. Similarly, I could’ve landed on the “bomb” slice many times in a row at any moment.
Even with good utilization of the shop, the player’s run can be completely upended by things they can’t control! I still left a good review for the game, this is just a critique I wanted to leave in the comments!
no dw i consider every feedback, and i do get what you mean, but lemme ask you smth, did you come across the jackpot upgrade and the extra spins upg? those 2 alone can get you insane runs, and you can get more and more of them as you progress more into endless mode, but still there might something missing, but i think since i didn't add upgrades that increases other slice's chance that could've been it, cuz the only upg that does that thing is the double jackpot upg, but still thanks for playing the game :)
very enjoyable game. it has a very spamton vibe that i really appreciate. not sure if i was just unlucky or if the economy is slightly overtuned but i had to get a jackpot to even attempt to get past the first "level".
Edit: returning after being informed about the bet slider on the right. i LOVE this game. i think my only note would literally be to make the bet slider more obvious lol
happy you liked it, now the thing is there's a bet amount slider on the right, maybe you didn't move it upwards to bet more? try doing that maybe?
consider this an edit too XD
yeah ngl for me i thought the slider was obvious, but after thinking for a bit i think it's cuz the bet amount number text should've been next to that slider to indicate that they are connected lol, but yeah should've made it more obvious :')
Simple, satisfaying, replayable. Good stuff.
I think I'm now addicted to spinning. Fun ambience. The diagonal "pixels" in the wheel hurt a bit, but I like the doggo. Compensated. Music pleasant.
What a cool and fun game :D
That was my first idea aswell :D Make a wheel of luck that u can upgrade with new parts and a quota u need to hit. It's cool for me to see how well u made this one. I love the little guy. How exited he is into his job.
Really good job on his animations and dialogues, and how he actually is reacting on the stuff that is going on :D
yoo thanks for playing it! happy that you liked it lol, i knew some people will have a similar idea as mine, now everyone has a different implementations but i'm glad you enjoyed making a game with similar idea that you had B)
Good game! Very well made and good polish as well for a game jam. The upgrades in the shop feel decent. A very good submission. Goodjob!
yo thanks for playing it and glad you enjoyed it :)
The business is serious, the company went bankrupt 😭
dang it bro xd, the business is so serious the company went bankrupt indeed XD
very very nice game, loved how it works and how you included an endless mode (that was nice) overall really great, i loved the manager/boss guy (he was funny) and the humor. (also bonus points because the dog kinda looks like the dog representation of toby fox :)
yoo thanks for playing the game, happy you liked it! and yes for some reason i really felt i needed to include the annoying dog for my game XD
Fun little game, although making a pixelated wheel wasn't the best decision, but still this is great, I had fun and it's the main thing
yo thanks for playing it! well yeah i was planning on keeping a wheel version with thinner pixels but people pointed it the mixels so i made the wheel have bigger/thicker outline to make everything match yk
yeah, understandable, great work!
This is a really cool game. And very polished for a jam. My only note is that certain text- such as the number of spins- is a bit hard to see. But overall very well made
Yo glad that you liked the game, I tried making the text in general bigger cuz other people pointed that out, but ig that wasn't enough lol
Really fun! I enjoyed the audio, graphics and the upgrade system. Good job!
Thanks for playing! Happy that you liked it :)
They say 99% of gamblers quit before they hit it big.
I say BET IT ALL ON BLACK, BABY!!!
(I really liked the dog barking during the spin, and the general premise was a lot of fun! The pixels were a bit big for my taste, and I feel like - since I spend the whole game clicking - it may have worked better for the intro text to be clicked through, rather than progressing by pressing "enter." Thanks for making this!)
Yessirrr we going all in 😎
Yeah the pixels might look too big but I did that just trying to avoid mixels cuz for example the wheel had thinner pixels but people said it looked like it was mixels so I made it bigger :')
Also it was possible to skip the whole intro by doing a spin, but idk i saw that sometimes the player might spin by mistake and skip the tutorial, but I think I should've kept that way lol, and thanks for playing game :)
I am glad to see that you ended up implementing audio for the dog barking! This game is just as good as when I playtested it! Loved the music, carried an undertale-esque vibe and the dog's comments were funny, it added a lot of life to the game!
Loved everything about this game, only would've wanted more incorporation of the wheel in other parts of the game, like the shop, the spinning wheel is fun, just a bit generic.
Other than that, 5 stars in everything! Very good (and serious) game. Last Spin Industries to the moon!
Yo thanks for the feedback! Happy that you enjoyed the game, and yes the bark sfx was a really last min addition cuz without it I felt the game lacked something lol, and yes there was some inspirations from undertale for sure, from the dog design (it's clear what character he resembles XD) to the soundtrack (inspiration was taken from ghost fight song) etc, and yes there were alot of big ideas of me making everything more incorporate actually, like I thought of making the accountant bring up a board smth like that to display the upgrades you can buy etc lol, but yeah the time just wasn't enough :')
Never before have I had so much fun gambling. The visuals and the audio are amazing, too, and made me feel almost like I was fighting a boss battle in Undertale. I really love how the employee's expression would change depending on where the wheel looked like it would land, especially when it got close to landing on the x0.5 space. Amazing game and a super fun play!
Yoo bro thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the game alot, and tbf good job on catching the Undertale inspiration here, cuz I told my musician friend to take inspiration from the ghost fight (napstalook) song from undertale for this soundtrack lol
