This is a really cool mechanical concept for a platformer!

Nice level of difficulty as the game progresses to show how you could extend it further and mesh with other platforming mechanics.

I think there is a lot you can do with it!

Great game! I love the visuals and the premise is really creative. I did find the level difficulty ramps up really fast on some parts of it (prolly cos I lowkey suck lol). But I had a lot of fun with this! I love the health regeneration as well to make it more forgiving and the audio has fitting music and great sound effects! I would say its also quite serious! Overall, great game and I had fun with it! Great work!

This was so fun and creative! The controls felt great and the gameplay was fun. Great job, you implemented the theme beautifully!

So glad I stumbled upon this!  This mechanic is a geat application of the theme, and it lead to some really cool level design.  I like that the health is super forgiving so that it's not very punishing to make a mistake, and the light is such a cool risk/reward (and flexible because it can either harm or keep asleep).

Awesome little puzzle platformer, honestly one of my favorites of the whole jam.  Amazing work!

Super cool! the way you can use the light to keep the zombies asleep or kill them is sick! had a lot of fun playing

I had a blast with this one. Super cool to be able to play with scroll wheel, although I noticed continuously scrolling meant I could just ignore the light if I wanted to. Insanely sick gimmick which is used in very interesting ways throughout, the level design is clean and cinematic and fits exactly the vibe you're going for here. One of the most fun games I've played in this jam, reminds me of a similarly light based section of Rayman Legends, except with more control which is super cool. Really good work here!

SO creative! I love how the light is both the main obstacle and your main weapon against enemies! It makes using it and working around it really interesting! I think if you made some more mechanics and polished this up it would make for a really fun little puzzle platformer!

Wow really interesting mechanics, not seen anything like this before. Nice atmosphere too!

Quite a unique take on the theme, awesome stuff

Love this! Controls feel great and levels get pretty hard but the lives system make it really forgiving :) On some parts, I could fully skip all the monsters and just let myself heal though, haha. But really amazing for a jam game!

I was hoping no one would realize that! It was difficult to design levels where you can't just ran past everything without making it too difficult. But I feel like beating a level like that is still rewarding in it's own way

An easy to understand and well utilized idea! I appreciate that each level found new ways to explore the mechanic. Good stuff.

really fun and creative mechanic! :) this felt just difficult enough for a jam game and and controlling the light was easy to grasp and understand. i liked how the light was used for both traversal and killing enemies! i also liked the small bit of worldbuilding at the start.

Nice link between mechanics and theme.
I enjoyed the art style and vibe too.

Amazing game! I love it, but I did get stuck and couldn't move on the first level with moving platforms, after a reload it worked though

Amazing visual and very unique gameplay, i did get bugged though, haha.. I got stuck on the 4/5th?level, idk what happened, the layout should be familiar.

Thanks for flagging, that bug should be fixed now
