Simple, but good looking CRT.
I felt too restricted in my dodging because you move by fixed increments, but I think that's the goal of the game.
Good sound and art. Nice Game.
amazing game! loved the crt effect and the music, extremely theme fitting!
minor thing tho i would love to not have to use the mouse during the power up choice, or during the rest of the game at all
played it a lot an lost some time on it, please keep iterating and updating it! its amazing for your first jam game!!
congrats on your entry!!
Awesome game :D The graphics fit the theme well, and the gameplay feels very smooth. I like the art, too, and it's overall very well executed! Good job :)
I would write real feedback but this is a really simple game and I feel like my feedback would be minor nitpicks, so instead here is a poem.
The spaceship I ride, was my absolute pride.
So when my ship's time was nigh, all I could do was cry.
The End.
(based off of the real events that transpired when I died in the game.)
Woah that's a great game. The visuals are amazing and audio is great. The difficulty is balanced and gets harder as you go on. I like that twist of the upgrades getting negative the further you play making the game harder. The CRT shader is great and really fits the retro theme. Incredibility polished for a 48-hour jam. Keep the up the work!
Absolute cinema, thoroughly enjoyable and a great start to your Game Jams! The first game I've tested so far that is retro in the mechanical sense too (where you move in steps rather than completely smoothly). Well done!
10450 high score, Feels quite polished for your first game in a new engine, good job!
I have some feedback
Anyway, GG and good luck :)
Thank you very much. Yeah ive chosen that the player moves in a grid because it was really janky when i had free movement. and yeah i forgot to freeze the bg shader while the user chooses a card :D
Very niceeeeeeee
I cant move with A and D which makes it hard as my arrow keys dont really work well, Only if those work i woul have enjoyed game more its fun, and sound effects are nice too [can u rate my game too heheh]
Description says I can move with A and D, but that wasn't working. Had to use arrow keys.
CRT effect feels overtuned, it makes it hard to really see what's happening when things are close to the edge of the screen.
Thanks for feedback :D ill fix the desc right away and crt shader also
