Aw man, I won $0. Great game! Amazing for one week.
Fucking loved the game, the character and sound design is peak! The on;y thing I could pinpoiunt is that the wheel feels like an afterthought - I don't know what can land on there, I don't controll it and because of it it just felt like a long load screen and damaged the pacing of the game
But overall you have an amazing game that is scarier than most indie horror games. Really liked how abrupt the ending was, I was shocked and was too afraid to move because I was waiting for a jumpscare! Peak videogaming right here
You're right about the wheel; the truth is I didn't have enough time to make it the way I wanted, and I had to simplify it a lot compared to the original concept because I was running out of time and it was just a solo game. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you liked it. Thanks for playing! <3
The atmospere is a real success. In my opinion, the "spin to win" theme is missing. Congrats!
Unsettling but in a good way, the old graininess that makes it look like it's on a old tv is perfect as well.
This is one of the more unique ones I've played in the jam! Super cohesive experience, the visuals and sounds work great together and it's silly and scary in equal parts. I think some music could have helped more with the atmosphere though.
It seems as though the spinning didn't really affect anything in the game. If the wheel wasn't there, the rest of the game would be the same mechanically. I played through a couple times, changing my answers each time, but didn't really see that much difference other than some minor dialogue changes. There didn't seem to be any noticeable issues with the translations, so all good there.
The sprites for the host are fantastic. I feel like I'm going to have nightmares about this guy tonight... Creepy!

If would change something in the game, it's the lack of background music, something light but with tension

You're absolutely right; I had thought about adding background music, roulette sound effects, and more audio, but I just couldn't find anything that fit the atmosphere.

But not having more tension and uncomfortableness help my friend to play your game. The game scared her so much i dont imagine if you had have music in background for all of the game haha
I dont remember what I rated all the other games but dude was this fantastic. Hands down the game with the best vibe ive played in this jam. I love a good horror and narrative based game and if that is related to a game show? oh hell yeah man I loved this so much. The laughter track made it so much better, almost if the audience was blind and just laughing for no reason. The vhs or crt effect is so good, I love IT!!! I am sending this game to my friends ASAP!

Wow,great game i really liked the dialouge idk if it's intended but some of it were funny to me i finished it and i loved the ending and how it was dark

Don't think there were any mistakes in the translations , I loved the art and the dialogue mixed with the CRT shader
feel like you didn't have time to implement the ending but the ending was lowkey funny
got most of them right except the meaning of life one ( knew answer what answer was but all answers were gibberish for me) and another one

I don't normally play these kinds of games, but I thought this was really well executed! It definitely leans into being creepy and unsettling. Well done! I'm glad I gave this one a try!
Interesting, somewhat creepy narrative game! I'm not sure if my choices really mattered in the end? Great character art and fun dialog.
It change a few dialogues depending if you get the right answers but unfortunately i didn't have enough time to make the answers influence the ending.

Very interesting take with a very creepy atmosphere. There isn't much going on in terms of gameplay but the strong aspect of the game is the narrative, which is short but interesting!

The game took the words "spin to win" pretty literally, while also building a story around it! Very nice!

I love the style of the game, despite it really only being John Bucket and the wheel behind him, I think the emptiness of the background actually empowers the creepy factor of the game.

Audio doesn't have that much going on, but it's very solid and does what it needs to do.

Art and audio are great
I read his dialogue in the heath ledger joker voice Amazing.... Overall art design is awesome however I wish some of the mixels that popo up in the head turn were cleaned up. Awesome story I think it would be cool if a secret happened if you write mom at the beginning.
Super cool game! Definitely one of the better games. Questions were a little tricky, but I suppose it's all to play for! I liked the story and theme of it all.

I enjoy that the story is super up to interpretation, but on my second play, I was a little disappointed that the choices, as well as the spin of the wheel, don’t actually change anything :(
