i really liked this! got a little laggy towards the end though. i really liked feeling powerful.
I second the visuals, very crisp. The sound effects are very satisfying. Would be good if the monsters did damage to the player. Nice game (i got slightly addicted)
the visuals are the best i have seen in this jam!
Very satisfying - can 100% potential in making this further
Nice work! The visuals are lovely. The dice rolling felt satisfying.
I think the game loop could use some work. I didn't feel the urgency to keep playing.
This game is incredibly satisfying with the dice and coin sounds, it tickles my brain the best way :)
The lag definitely builds up, but that didn't stop me from getting filthy rich, would love to see an update with more upgrades and waves!
I had more fun with this then I should've lmao. Super addicting imo, spent more time then I would like to admit even after getting all the upgrades just gambling (this might not be the best sign). The outlines for the backpack and die were def a good idea too as they were quite helpful, and im so annoyed how late i got the automatic pickup of the dice upgrade lol
Nice little entry, keep up the good work!
Such a satisfying loop! Clean visuals, diagetic UI, and the game juice is there making every hit just feel really good especially when you get them to stack. Very fun to get all the upgrades. Only problem is performance as you go through could be more optimized lol. Lags to a crawl on web browser but at least not until you beat the game anyway so nbd.
very cool idea and theme, one thing i would say though is to auto pickup dice after dropped. otherwise, great job!
Glad you enjoyed!
There is an upgrade, that you can unlock, that auto pickups the dices after throwing them.
Wow, this has great game feel! Super satisfying to play. I was stoked when they mentioned you could go through all the waves again with the upgrades but unfortunately the lag build up was too strong :(
The juice in this game is delicious though. Everything felt/looked really good. The sausage death animation is peak.
The dialogue and the visual & audio design was EXCELLENT!! The animation when you defeat enemies was absolutely hilarious as well, and it all felt extremely polished! Really satisfying and well thought-out upgrade system as well, and I am truly amazed that this all came out from a week of work!
I first thought it was kinda inconvenient to having to press the dice to collect them, but I quickly realized that all upgrades together with the mechanics are designed to just speed up how quick you can beat it, while making it progressively more satisfying. I also loved the multiplier - all of the game just flows together so well!
It might be extremely reduntant, but I almost feel like I would like a timer/round counter to know how quickly I can beat the game hahahaha. I don't think it really needs it though, since I like the calm atmosphere [:
The guy staring at me doesn’t seem to happy witnessing me become rich in minutes :D
How the hell your computer did not explode from that much coin :D
This game is damn good. I don't even know how tha hell you made a 3D game but that's crazy work. Apart from visuals the game itself is really fun to play and idea is pretty good. I played it till end man, it is lil addicting.
Very fun game, a shame it lags so heavily at the end game (not even sure if theres more content after you beat the boss since the game just refuses to register any of my clicks after dropping to 2 fps), i assume object pooling wouldve solved most of the lag?
Pooling would have helped a bit, but the biggest problem is the coins physics. Needed better solution for the coins, which I didn't have enough time to implement sadly. But thanks for playing!
Wonder if you couldve turned the coin physics into an animation instead with some variance in order to bypass the physics entirely and saving tons of performance, but ya, the time constraint is very understandable
Amazing work! I loved the visuals and the sound effects! It was a very polished game. The game did get a little laggy towards the end, however.
I really loved it! It's incredibly well-polished, super addictive, and a lot of fun! I almost broke my computer with all those coins and dice after the final boss, but it was totally worth it! Impressive for a jam game! Well done!
Thanks for playing!!!
One of the best games of the jam in my opinion!
Really had a blast playing, the gameplay itself is a fun concept, but you also polished it well which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I'd have loved to continue playing after beating the final boss, but sadly after getting all upgrades the game started to lag a lot because of the coins on the table that I couldn't spen, so it became unplayable.
Anyway, very nice work!
Glad you enjoyed!
Yeah it is very sad that we hadn't enough time to optimize this enough.
This game is really well made and polished i really like the upgrades and extra dices it was really fun and enjoyable would certainly play it for fun
This is for sure the best game we have tried so far! The mechanics are well worked out and the background scene and animations are awesome!
Please do limit the number of coins on screen, it started lagging strongly around 300.
We'd be happy if you also tried our incremental! We worked on it the entire week :3
