We stan a rage game! Also if you play Jellyfish Jam during this game it goes SO HARD!
This is a really difficult game! The controls feel easy to learn but hard to master. It felt so satisfying when you can navigate areas that seem impossible. The art is very minimalistic which I like. You did a really good job making this!
Weirdly enough it feels like it could be a game that tries to teach the use of leverage in physics, the "Mould Effect" aka chain fountain comes to mind
The entire game ironically was super fun and very intuitive feeling regardless of the "Getting Over It" referencing! The only genuinely challenging part which still felt very learnable was the final wall-climb.
Not kidding when I say: I kinda wanna play a whole game around this because the movement and acceleration/deceleration of the rotation felt very satisfying to both perform and watch!
Game completed and successfully enraged! I was frustrated by the difficulty of the game, but I can also tell a decent amount of care went into the design of the player controller to allow for complicated and seemingly impossible navigation. After playing for a little bit I got the hang of "climbing " and pausing your rotation in the air to set up the next contact point. Tricky, and I am very glad you left some ground under the final ascent. Good level design, and good job with the player controller.

(also I did win, but part of your win condition is that player control is shut off... and as I was 1/2 off the platform I just sorta fell as seen in the screenshot )
The extreme level of difficulty makes me feel like the game is trying to rage bait me whenever I fall back to the starting position. That said, the controls and movement are impressively well done for such a simple game, even larger titles often lack this level of precision. Inside the vertical hollow space, when moving upward, I press left and the box sticks and slides along the wall for about half a second. Then, when I move right and press right, it sticks slides there too. I’m not sure if this is intentional, but it’s amazing to see such detail in a game of this scale.
I had a good time with it! An interesting take on the Getting Over It genre, since you said you made it with a very limited time, I feel like you already did the best you could and did not have any time to play test the levels or stuff like sound effects.
I feel like it has potential if you continue to develop it. Good job.
Diabolical!
The concept is really good, and the controls are super responsive. I managed to see the GG at the end, but I just couldn't climb all the way up to it... pure skill issue on my part :(
If you're open to some feedback, I would love to hear some sound effects. It would also be cool to have some kind of progression, like unlocking new textures for your brick or something similar. A very simple tutorial would help too, even if it's just to say 'use A or D' (this could just be in your itch.io page description).
Anyway, congrats on the game, I had a blast playing it!
As simple as it is, it's a nice little challenge and I had fun climbing. With sound and better visuals it can be a very solid game
Really good submission. I like how you made the player controller.
Simple art, but lovely experience :) thank you for sharing this
I like the use of the theme in this game, very fun.
The physics are fluid, the beginning part where you have to lift yourself up took me a bit but I was able to progress easily more after that, and I was able to understand how I should positions myself to keep going. Like other people have said, sound effects and background music would be a nice touch to it! I can see more levels out of this game, keep it up!
Very literal spinning, but the mechanic still works. Nice job!
Holymoly, "spin to win" was no joke to you! Very interesting concept, as others have mentioned, some audio would also add quite a lot. :)
the idea is creative , the mechanic is fun , but if u just made it that spinning in air adds sm velocity it wouldve been better and no audio make it weird , but i fr enjoyed ir
I would love afull version of this game!! Would love some humurous voiceover like the original game
It clearly felt like a rage game but physics was so strangely consistent that I was okay with it! Good job! Exactly the kind of expectation I have for a game like this.
Major getting over it vibes, I like it :)
really fun game and enjoyed playing it
Im so glad you enjoyed my barely finished game
