Great game, taught me to always gamble my way outta debt. Really have nothing bad to say, other than the upgrades was a little confusing at first. Didn't realize fully how to get tickets, but figured it out pretty quickly. Amazing game.

Great game! Very fun roguelike experience, lots of thought clearly put into how it should work. I think the instant lose X's are a bit too brutal for me unfortunately. I think if there was a to end a round early once you got enough money that would help mitigate that issue for me. But really really great game!

For the X’s, you are supposed to buy shield devices, they completely block the effect of the X’s!!
I did in my run, I bought 2 shields and just hit 3 X's, so it was just pretty bad RNG I guess. I suppose in a game like this that's hard to mitigate. Still great work though!
I spent a lot of time with this one. Very polished visuals and audio and suuper fun to see your money count go up. The got that upgrade to increase your money when landing on a specific tile is very satisfying! Very impressed with the level of polish in such a short time.
This does not feel like a game jam game. It's so polished. The title screen is so stylized, the art direction is so cool, and the sound effects match. The humour is great, love Mr. Questions dialogue as you spin. Really fun gameplay loop, got the same kind of grip as balatro, makes you want to keep coming back. Amazing game. I can't fault the game itself in anyway, but would like it if I could go fullscreen on web version.

For the fullscreen: you should be able to click this fullscreen icon in the bottom right to go into fullscreen, then you just need to click the game to resume it!
Music is an absolute banger. Gameplay is definitely fun, being able to just spin a wheel and upgrade the money you get from doing it. Great game!

the font is intentionally "blurry" by the way! The game is rendered at 512x288 pixels, it's supposed to be a retro game! :D
This game only has 9 ratings?! I've played over 30 games and this is no joke one of the best ones. The music is top tier groovy and the way the main menu and ui follows your mouse is awesome! Game feels super polished especially the dialogue boxes, on top of that the gameplay is great, upgrades are cool and the gameplay loop is really fun. Absolute fantastic work Splash!

Another spinny game! i love the juice in this it all feels really responsive and nice. Gameplay does kinda get stale after a while when you have to wait for the wheel to spin but thats not really an issue with this type of game. As for difficulty scaling it does get kinda extreme especially since the game is mostly rng, lost few time on just the second level which may be a bit too extreme or im just really unlucky :p, also would be nice to have at least a volume slider or some menu options. Overall though very cohesive game, great job!

I tried to update the game with lots of tweaks, including the ability to skip the wheel spin, but sadly I couldn't publish it in time.
While the game is rng based (it's gambling afterall) you can reroll the shop to get the devices you desire, and with the correct items you can get like millions of dollars lol (someone even posted a photo of them hitting the integer limit here)
For volume slider options I just didn't have enough time to implement them

I found the game to be really fun but it needs some balancing
I found the spike in difficulty between the first and second level is really big. That being said it is reeally fun trying again and again once you lose. I guess that's how gambling works.
Resolution could be higher, and I wish you unlocked stronger items. I swear I had like 1k tickets by the 4th round, I just couldn't spend them, and lost. I also wish rerolling cost tickets, that would be a lot cheaper than the money you have on that particular round. Overall pretty fun though.
So the resolution is intentional, it's the asthethic of the game, but I guess an option to disable it would be good for people that dislike it.
For the tickets, how did you manage to get over a thousand tickets? There are lots of items that you can get to easily reach like 3x the money that you need for the last round lol
Yeah, but it costs money to reroll doesn't it? I didn't have money, so I was kinda screwed. Tickets were worthless to me.
I had like a good 2nd round I think. I got like 60k gold I think, or something like that. I got really lucky, and that turned into like 500 tickets, and after that I just got more and more, because I couldn't spend them. I turned them into "YES"-es which was the most expensive one I could find, but eventually rerolling cost more than the upgrade would give me, so once again, I felt kinda powerless.
The story of midas. All the tickets in the world at my disposal, yet my only son, turnt to gold. Thus I too, like Midas, asked to rid myself of such power.
Truly a poetic experience.

You can easily achieve that with shield/shieldboost or with waterbending or just 2 "YES"-es

Really fun - potentially I was confused, couldn't figure out how to purchase more tickets for the shady guy shop - probably missed something obvious. but either way, played through twice, very appealing main loop - addictive, great sounds and visuals - good interpretation of the theme!

You actually can't purchase tickets yourself, the money that you have gets traded to tickets after each round! Shady Guy mentions it.

Even though the game is a bit unbalanced it is really fun. I love that Mr. Question makes comments after every spin. The music is great and the art style is simple but executed excellently. Great job!
Very cool game! I had a lot of fun, even though it seems to be very hard to hit the target amount of a round after the first one.

This game is currently a little unbalanced, though it is fully possible to win the game, with the reroll feature you can reroll the shop to get better items, and with the correct items, you can easily get the money that you need for the quota, you have to be a little strategic about it!
