The core idea is interesting, I liked the "tax then gambling then tax again " loop. The text of the tax papers is a little small to be honest, and the lever pull is a bit too slow, however. All in all, it's a neat little experience that definitely has potential!
I thought the concept was pretty interesting. There were some frustrations however, my name was "asdfmovie3" and neither 5 or 6 consonants were correct, so I don't know how to make that one correct, and remembering the name of my first form was impossible. With some easier non-memory based cross referencing the taxes could be pretty fun. On the spinning side I didn't feel compelled to spin more than once because I didn't use the money for anything, and I lost money more than I gained it. I think with some more playtesting and attention to detail this game could be really fun.

Needs Work
Overall, it just doesn't feel like a game in its current state. I wasn't able to continue past the first form, so maybe it got better then, but I just wouldn't know
I thought it was pretty funny overall, but definitely could use polish to really sell the idea.
- The slot machine winnings/losses are hard to tell (the combinations seem somewhat random in terms of what wins?), then another screen pops up telling you if you win or not, which seem preset - either lose, win back what you bet, or double it. I think some variety in gameplay could come from making more combinations possible in the slots and making the winnings generic, like put in $50 and earn 10%, 20%, 150% etc rather than just preset outcomes. Overall think you can show more like your current wallet balance on every screen.
- The tax idea was getting interesting as it went on, reminded me of Papers, Please. I will say the last question I saw was 'what is the number of the form' which I obviously will get wrong, but when I saw my newest stamp it was all letters, so that was confusing.
I could see this being expanded into a short but sweet narrative experience.
That was... interesting? The gameplay was not very engaging, but the music and sound effects were well made!
Thank you, this is really useful feedback.
Did it feel like something in particular was missing? Or perhaps it felt like missing polish?
It would be great to hear more
It just wasn't very fun to be honest. Repeatedly filling out the same form. The slot machine felt kinda like an ad break: a waiting period to get back into the game.
I put a 27 words name........, loved it!
After I filled out the day 2 form the game soft locked.
Maybe if I got to play more I would understand it, but as of now, I'm not really sure what I was meant to be doing other than pulling slots
Softlock is fixed now
Did you manage to finish the game? I got stuck after the first spin at the casino and couldn't type in the second form?
Softlock is fixed now
