I feel like I'm high while playing this (and I don't even do drugs D:)
But for real - incredibly polished, satisfying to play (though gravity changing mid-air is reaaaaly nice and when it's gone you're sad :C), the only I could possibly want is some sort of pernament upgrade that makes temporary upgrades last longer.
Extremely addictive game with confusing graphics. I like it.
I found a bug on a linux build. When I switched to fullscreen it disabled my primary monitor. I'm running Linux mint 22.3 with Cinnamon. Display server X11. I turned fullscreen on only once so It might have been just something random.
Thank you! and woah that's Weird bug, will definitely look into it :)
This game is quite an experience! It wasn't initially obvious to me what I was supposed to be doing but after I understood I could fully imerse myself in a world that is very creatively built!
I did however find it fairly annoying that spacebar opened the spinning menu cuz I am so used to using spacebar to jump, jumping with w is fine too ofcourse but I kept instinctively pressing spacebar and opening the menu on accident :P
Overall, very cool looking game and interesting to try and move around in it!
Im very happy you enjoyed ;) may the spacebar suffer dissipate 🙏🏻
i loved this game! what a treat. the sound effects are so clinky and glassy, music is nice and relaxing. it took me about ten minutes to really get the hang of the flip controls but by the time i got to the Legendary Wheel i was completely entranced.
Thank you :D
Oooh this game is savory. Clean and polished, quite enjoyable movement and feedback. Good job!
Bouncy Bouncy! I was struggling at first then I got some bounce and gravity upgrades and I was zooming around. Very fun game
Thank you!! xD
Really enjoyed this. Reminded me a little bit of PixelJunk Eden and getting into that zen like zone while playing.
Gravity switching mechanic was very cool too.
Thank you! ;)
Very Serious player :D This was beautifully done, mechanics and audio are awesome. Great job!
Plays quite well! Controls are snappy and I like the sound effects. Only complaints are that it can be kinda confusing getting around and I wish more of the wheel upgrades were permanent. But overall very nice!
Thank you for the feedback <3 :D
Np enjoyed the game!!
Heyyyy, so nice to see the improved wheel and background you implemented, just played the updated version for the first time xD. Good Job overall aswell, well done!
Thank you! :D
This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite game I've played this jam. This game felt like the games that I used to play on coolmathgames.com but 10x better. It took me a while to understand the goal of the game, but as soon as I did, it clicked and I had lots of fun. I liked all the visual and game juice touches, especially the camera zooming out when falling so I could aim, and your gravity auto flipping when you fell out of the map. The music and sound effects were also really good. Great game!
Thank you!!!! I'm super glad this was experience :D
Man... originally I was like, this pixel background is jarring against these platforms, but it grew on me. This has got to be one of the most unique spin to win ideas I've seen yet. I especially liked the little touches on it, like the camera getting zoomed out the faster you went (I free fell a lot to get to the "top" being a traditional top). Honestly, this is a great platformer. It should be getting more ratings by far.
Thank you!! that means a LOT
for the background bit, i actually gave that a lot o thought, i needed a way to make the Player and the Platforms stand out against the parallax heavy and shape full background while keeping it and the player both Blue, tried blurring and it was eye hurting, and every other way just meant more compromises, i ended up selecting the pixel method because it fits the black holes(the hazards) aesthetic and so they complement each other!
Wow great game! I had a lot of fun just gravity switching trying not to hit anything in between lol. If there is one thing i would like, it would be that on the wheels, id like to be able to click on an upgrade to see what it does, so i know if i want to refresh or not. Great game!
Thank you! and Oh! that's actually an essential thing i didn't notice i left out :O
looks good!
its a nice game, this one is kinda a nitpick but i think pressing S to jump once we are upside down would be better
never thought of it! would definitely have applied this if i knew about it earlier :)
This is just amazing, and very dreamy! You've done a really good job.
thank you!
This is a really fun platformer, and the integration of spinning is some of the best I've seen. It's a genuinely fun gameplay loop. It would be nice to make s also jump, because that'd feel more intuitive when "upside down". I also felt like the level was a little too cluttered and the camera a little too tight to really get a groove for flying around like I wanted to sometimes. Overall tho, I spent longer than I realized just trying to get as many goals as I could!
i am Very thrilled to hear that this was your experience!! nothing is perfect especially for a jam game so i totally accept those notes :D
