This game was awesome! I loved the style.
The game icon reminded me a bit of Buckshot Roulette, which is a favorite of mine.
Gameplay was top, sound design and visuals were top. Made it to level 7 on my best run.
Cool game!
Thanks a ton, glad you loved the style! You've got great taste. Buckshot Roulette and CloverPit were exactly what I was channeling when designing the vibe, so it's awesome that the icon and atmosphere immediately reminded you of them. Congrats on making it to level 7, and thanks for checking it out!
this is a really cool game but the environement is slightly lacking, maybe just a little more work put into the surrounding area cause its kinda jsuta cobblestone box
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the "cobblestone box" isn't winning any architectural awards, but the environment wasn't really the focus for this jam entry. I wanted all the attention on the radar screen! Still, I might tweak the aesthetics a bit post-jam to give it a bit more vibe. Thanks for playing!
This was a really creative game I can see it as a part of a mini game in a much more expanded game like if you use that computer for more things or mini games. Really well done keep it up!
Thanks a ton! Iโm really glad you enjoyed it and saw the potential for it to expand. Having this run on an in-game computer alongside other systems is a brilliant concept for a bigger project. Appreciate the encouragement!
Cool idea and unique concept for a fun game. I cannot see that curser at all though. Didnt even know there was one until after I hit play, almost discouraged me from playing...glad I stuck around though
Haha, the legendary invisible cursor strikes again! ๐ Seriously though, thank you so much for not giving up on it right at the start. Iโm thrilled you found the concept unique and fun once you got into it. I'll get that cursor fixed up ASAP so it's actually usable. Thanks for playing!
Great take on spin to win, super inspired game design and really fun to play. Atmosphere is amazing, loved how the gunshots echoed after each shot. only issue I have personally is that the cursor is a little hard to see at times.
Awesome, thank you! Glad the vibes hit the mark. Yeah, the "stealth cursor" is definitely a classic jam oversight on my part, haha. I'll make sure it's nice and visible in the post-jam patch. Thanks for playing!
My only wish is that the cursor was a little more visible, but other than that, it was very fun and I loved the vibes.
Awesome, thank you! Glad the vibes hit the mark. Yeah, the "stealth cursor" is definitely a classic jam oversight on my part, haha. I'll make sure it's nice and visible in the post-jam patch. Thanks for playing!
This is really cool, great ambience, game play loop is fun, and the economy management is interesting and engaging. BUT, there's one really glaring problem... I can't see the cursor!!! I really like everything else here though this is pretty awesome.
Thanks a ton! Glad you found everything else pretty awesome. Yeah, the "stealth cursor" feature was definitely a mistake on my part, haha. I'll be swapping it out for something high-contrast in the post-jam patch so you can actually see what you're buying. Appreciate the great feedback!
This is a cool and fun game! I suppose you could even incorporate some horror elements here, given the intriguing atmosphere.
Thanks a ton! I'm super glad you had fun with it. I love the suggestion about adding horror elements—building up that eerie, tense atmosphere would fit perfectly with the current loop. Appreciate you taking the time to play and comment!
Cool concept, the cursor was kind of hard to see. However a friendly advice, seeing the ai generated cover image (correct me if I'm wrong) made me think the game would just be another slop. Once again, great game but please make your own cover.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the concept and sorry about the sneaky cursor. You caught me on the AI cover... I felt it captured the vibe well, but it's a great reality check to know that it might make people think the game itself is "slop" before they try it. I'll definitely look into reworking the branding so it does the actual game justice. Appreciate the honest advice!
Cool idea, great visuals and visuals, i like the retro-phosphorescent style. Some music would be a great adddition. The only "bad" thing is that the cursor is hard to see.
Thank you! Glad you liked the aesthetic! Missing music and a camouflaged cursor are definitely classic jam oversights on my part, haha. ๐ Both are absolutely on my radar for the next polish pass. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!
the idea is so creative love the game <3
try my game if you want to :>
Thanks a ton! Super happy you enjoyed it.
This game was awesome, the presentation and atmosphere was incredible. I like how simple the upgrade system was but it actually mattered you couldn't waste any turn to buy or reroll for a solid upgrade. Only complaint is that in some encounters taking damage is 100% unavoidable due to too many missiles spawning too close and that felt a little cheap. I love it tho 8/10
Awesome, thank you! Glad you enjoyed the vibe and found the upgrade/reroll decisions meaningful. That feedback about the missile spawns is super helpful; making damage literally unavoidable is definitely a balance issue I need to clean up for the post-jam version. Appreciate the honest review and the awesome score!
This was a simple but incredible game with the aesthetic to match. Needing to memorize the positions of the enemy was one thing, but needing to strategize your upgrades, timing, and ability to hit multiple enemies or needing to shoot enemies multiple times is a way to give depth to what is already a great concept.
Wow, thank you for the incredible feedback! I'm so glad the upgrade strategy and resource management added that extra layer of depth you were looking for. It means a lot to hear that the execution and aesthetic hit the mark. Thanks for checking it out!
I found it fun. My main complaint was that I found it hard to see my mouse when clicking on what to buy as it was the same colour as the screen other than that it was rather enjoyable.
Awesome, glad you found it fun! Yeah, fighting the UI to buy things is never a good feature, so my apologies for the camo-cursor! ๐
Definitely interesting, and I suck with memory so it was pretty challenging for me. I would like more horror elements and maybe some more detailed gameplay, but it was still quite memorable. :)
Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm really glad that it was a memorable experience despite the tough memory challenge. Leaning into more horror elements and expanding the gameplay depth are fantastic ideas for the future. Thanks for playing!
Great and polished game.
I like how do you implement the idea of memorize the enemies and the health of them.
I would like to have some upgrade to increase the time of the pings or something that helps to "memorize" the enemies position when there are more. But this is a deatil
(And, of course, the radar is a great idea. Everybody knows it. I don't say this because I also use a radar in my game :P )
Thank you for the awesome feedback! Adding upgrades to tweak the ping duration or help track enemies is a brilliant idea for expanding the loop. Glad you enjoyed the execution... and hey, you can never have too many radar games! ๐ Thanks for checking it out!
I adore this! It's a very straightforward concept that builds on itself very well and the roguelike elements made me strategize more than I was expecting to get through to the end. The overall presentation and style is perfect on top of all that.
thank you for such a kind review!
This is a really unique and fun game! The radar is a very good use of the theme, and the gameplay is fun and challenging. Only issue I did have with it is that the cursor was very hard to see, but otherwise very good execution. Well done!
Thank you for the awesome feedback! Super glad you liked the radar theme twist.
