Haha, love to see Good Pizza, Great Pizza being referred to. A plant vendor solving problems is a very fresh and approachable concept for shop sims. Theme-wise, it seems a bit generic, could use more specific real-world grounding. And the impact is not very clear as well, inspiring curiosity is nice but there's no concrete call to action yet. However, a good sign is that the scope feels manageable for a jam. Nice work! Looking forward to seeing the final product.

As a big fan of shop simulator games, I'm excited to see this project as your team continues production! I love that this relates very closely to the "plant a seed" theme in using different seeds to solve environmental issues. Best of luck!

I like the emphasis on biodiversity. I think that the theme implementation is simple yet very effective, allowing the player to easily understand and engage with it. It seems like a very cozy game with the art style and easy to get into gameplay loop. Great job on this one.

I like the concept of the game it sounds interesting, learning about how different kinds of plants can help solve climate related issues. I have never heard of the games that you are using as inspiration but is this like a text based game basically?  Other than that I am interested in seeing what you guys come up with

I really like the narrative with this. The biodiversity theme is also quite interesting. As some have already mentioned, it is important to try to differentiate this game from existing shop simulators. I think this game has a clear direction and wish you all good luck

Really fun concept! I love the idea of presenting the player a problem that they actually have to solve with critical thinking! I think the aesthetic is really cool too! One thing you guys could consider is, in terms of plants types and biodiversity, try to pick a country/ place irl (or multiple) that you're basing your setting off of (even if the country itself has many different city environments) and try to see what would be considered an "invasive species" in those areas/ environment types. Could give an extra challenge to player!

This looks fun! I didnt quite understand if its like a papa louie style game? Like camera wise or design wise - like whats the gameplay.

Haha, "Team Beans",  I love it. Great concept! I always appreciate a good shop simulator game, and I think this works very well for the theme and also educating players about solving nature-related problems. I had never heard of Trash Goblin before until now, but upon looking at it that is exactly what I pictured in my head based on your description. I like this idea because it includes a lot of problem solving and creative thinking for the player, and also opens up the door for a wildly creative narrative with the incoming NPCs.

The entire project appears to be very interesting and highly inspiring. Allow players to engage in the act of selling seeds while also enabling them to effectively acquire some knowledge about seeds and agricultural environmental protection. The scope of the entire project appears to be very reliable. It seems like a project that can be completed within one month. The only drawback might be in innovating the mechanism for selling the seeds, distinguishing it from "good pizza great pizza".

I was already thinking of Trash Goblin by the time I was halfway through the Gameplay section so it was great to see that it was part of inspiration. I love playing these style games so I'm looking forward to how this one turns out.

Another store game you could look into for gameplay inspiration is Strange Antiquities which leans more into puzzle solving and complexity

What makes this game stand out from other shop simulators, other than the climate aspect? I really like the biodiversity and community wellness ideas. Maybe needs a bit more fleshing out.

This is so fun! Art style, game play, and opportunity for story sounds really promising. I like the educational aspect as well, and am looking forward to seeing how you implement it. Will there be a little notebook of all the facts you learn and will there be recurring NPCS (or is the focus predominately on the plants)? A game I am remembering that could be helpful to gleam inspiration from is Potionomics.

This concept has a strong identity and clear production plan, plus some really good narrative potential. I'm excited to see where it goes! My main question is how the player knows which seeds to provide each customer. Do they have to puzzle it out based on the request, or by using real-world botany knowledge? It says the issues become "more complex" over time, but how?
