This is actually pretty clever! It's like trying to play a game without knowing the rules. At first you're like WTF, for a while you think there's no rules whatsoever, but eventually you kinda get it!

Art is lovely! Really like the card designs in particular. I think only issue I had was selecting cards when I had many (though maybe I should have gave up at that point 😅).

Overall a great experience! Thanks for taking part!

I love the graphics, but the actual gameplay felt like Calvinball with cards. Putting aside the central conceit, I have no idea what the rules of the game are or what the win condition is. I just put cards in the middle, sometimes more cards go into my hand, and sometimes I can't play anything and have to pass.

After playing a bit and re-reading the page I think it's supposed to be War? Or maybe Uno?

I think the basic concept of "you don't know what the cards do and you have to figure that out" could work, but there isn't enough structure to build the initial mental model you need to start working out the details. For me I think there are too many card types, but that's something that will vary between players.

Brilliant game.  Bit of a slow start but massively addictive once you get into it.

Awesome game! Managed to win in the end! I think this is an absolutely fascinating concept: making mental links to cards as you play to try and get some form of idea of the ranking.  I think I had a somewhat decent idea of what was going on by the end, but probably was missing some key details!

Graphics/sound are lovely! Really stylish game! V cool!

I played this for like 15 minutes and I still don't know what's going on. I think I'm trying to run out of cards like in UNO? It's lowkey fun trying to figure it out. (I would keep playing but my computer is about to die :( )

I know that when I press PASS I pick up all the cards from the middle, and that there is +2 and +4 cards.

I too am having the issue of it being hard to select the card u want. I'll click in the same spot repeatedly and it will give me like 4 different cards.

Slick card game = crack cocaine to gamers. Appropriately ridiculous selection. Picking cards when you have too many in your hand is very frustrating though, valve pls fix

Absolutely loved the Art Style in this game. The cards have their own flair to them that's adorable, and even with the "cuteness" of them it was easy to understand what each card was meant to be. The artist for this game has found their style, and is nailing it.

I really like the premise of the game, and a simple How To explanation on the Title screen would work wonders. Took a while to understand what was happening though. I wasn't sure why I couldn't or could play certain cards, but after a while you figure out things little by little.

Overall, solid entry! Great job!

It's a little bit hard to understand what to do on start, but the graphics and sounds are just asome!!! I really like it!

Crazy stylish! It took a while but I won finally! Still don’t have a complete picture of the game though.

One complaint: it gets quite hard to select the cards when your hand gets big! IDK if that’s a problem with my platform or what.

SPOILERS - what I've figured out so far List of cards in ascending order:
  • 9
  • 10
  • Jack
  • Queen
  • King
  • Ace
  • Joker
  • Normal & Inverted Major Arcana. I don’t totally understand the ordering here, I think the normal Arcana are ordered normally (Magician, Hierophant, Chariot, Hermit, Star) and the inverted Arcana reverse the ordering? Very confused. These have some kind of ability which involves a card (picked at random?) which is shown in the upper-left corner. I think you might draw a card when you play the card in the corner?
  • Uno Draw 2 (Opponent draws 2)
  • Uno Draw 4 (Opponent draws 4? I didn’t actually confirm this)
  • Uno Reverse (Applies the previous effect to the opponent)
  • Uno Skip (Opponent draws 2?)
  • Uno Wildcard (Opponent draws 4?)
  • Pufferfish (Take the opponent’s highest card)
  • Unknown Seas (Take the opponent’s highest card)
  • Sad Goblin (Take the opponent’s highest card)
  • Shvabra (Take the opponent’s highest card)
  • Bibik (Take the opponent’s two highest cards)
  • Pushkin rule card (Opponent takes one card from you? at random?)
  • Balatro rule card (Opponent takes one card from you? at random?)
  • Monopoly rule card (You and the opponent trade your lowest rank cards)
  • Blank card (Immediately play any card of any rank)
  • Question card (Opponent takes your lowest card?)
  • Box card (Opponent takes your two lowest cards?)
  • Credit card (Draw two cards?)
  • Rat card (Blows up the entire pile!)

I am very impressed that most of them are correct, good job

Hard to get to know what to do, but it certainly feels like this rat is cheating.

The style is very cool, everything is tied together visually. The game is also deliberately obtuse to how it works which is both good and bad, and both good bad and bad bad and good good and bad good... you get the gist. Anyway this specific aspect made me stare at the cards. Like I hae a giggle when I realised its Tarot or cathed a reference to a poet. The cards were hard to take out of the hand sometimes, which is janky enough, but maybe a bit too janky to play sometimes xD I also loved the oval transitions and the music. And sound effects. And the simplicity of the concept.

This game is awesome! It's exactly like playing a made-up game with your brother/cousin and just inventing the rules as the game goes on!

Didn't know what i was doing, bad rat was trying to rizz me up the whole time

I liked the feel of the game, but the lack of feedback made me feel like I was just throwing on cards and hoping the game accepts it more than strategizing. But the aesthetics are great, really charming.

Rat card is overpowered, exploded the whole stack (2$31c in loose cards pulverized)

The art, visual effects and music are amazing, and I love how the gameplay feels! Figuring out this game is so fun!
