Buttery smooth controls and great polish, the performance wasn't great though.

Developer

Thank you, Zhyar! I appreciate it! It means a lot to me!!

Great entry!

I really love how you configured the environment and the character controls. The jump animations are amazing!

You have a pretty good sense for making games, it hooked me! Keep going!

Congratulations on your submission!

Hi! Almost make me cry lol

Thanks! As I told the others, these beautiful assets—including the character controls (basic movement and jumping)—had already been created by Kenney for his kit. I worked on compiling it all, adopting a "recycling" approach and trying to turn the material into a playable level by adding extra features and building the level itself.

And yes, my dream is to work exclusively with games someday. So, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you like it! :D

very well polished game, the arrow keys to pan around is nice touch!

Developer

Thank you dude! I appreciate that!

Very fun game, and extremely polished! Its impressive this was made in 48 hours.

Developer

Thank you very much! Yeah, it was really intense and so hard. I only slept three hours this weekend 😵‍💫 I tried to give it my best. But in the end, I managed to deliver it 🙌

Very funny game, It's really polish, the animations and the game feel are great. I like the sound, it is really an amazing platformer!!!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you!! I think the asset provided by Kenney is amazing already and I just tried to add a few more features by recycling objects :)

Fun level design, sound, and pfx are done exceptionally well. I like the old platformer vibe that you just start the game and figure out random stuff like double jump, break bricks etc just like the little plumber used to do :) Inspiring!!

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you like it! 😊

Awesome project, character's movement feels very immersive. I wasn't sure about the lighting but then I read that it is a known bug on the web version - works just fine with the downloaded version. Great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, about the web version: I tried to mention that some way. There really wasn't enough time to properly test the game on browser.

Thank you for your feedback!

Whoaaa this is a REALLY polished 3d platformer for the time limit. Very well presented, bravo!

Submitted(+1)

I actually had fun and i don't even LIKE platformers

Developer

Thank you! I think the asset provided by Kenney is impressive in its own right. I just tried to build on that recycling assets to create a level and develop fun gameplay—as best I could.

Submitted(+1)

same same, it's a really fun challenge. Like opening a fresh box of lego and letting your imagination go wild.

Developer

Exactly!

Submitted(+1)

Has such a polished look and feel :) Can 100% see the inspiration and you did such a good job getting that feeling right with it :) Would be cool to see more levels ad more development with it :) Great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I think the the Starter Kit 3D Platformer by Kenney is impressive in its own right. I just tried to build on that, elevating the gameplay and recycling assets, respecting the jam theme the best I could. Thank you for your feedback :)

Yes I love those assets too, the problem really for me is I use construct 3 and it has zero lighting in the engine so everything looks odd when I bring in 3D assets, it's why I've just used that 1-bit pack (plus it's awesome) In my current game I turned on fog in the rooms and the assets looked a tad better, but anything 3D in construct is sorta a hassle. And I have no idea how to do animations, 3D character controllers or animations, all that stuff scares the crap outta me :P lol
