Awesome stuff, disturbingly beautiful is the best way to describe it
LOVE THE ART STYLE haha great job!
love the collage element of this game, makes it feel very personal; which works really well because of the narrative !! awesome stuff!
This collage style is so cool!
This is so profoundly beautiful. Thank you for putting this work together. After the first face with the jump into the daughter, really hit my dad feels. Love this work
Incredible style with this. Absolutely a great entry
What a trip! I loved this, so creative
Such a creative and meaningful game, especially when seeing so many AI creations lately.
Such a cool and creative idea! The presentation is really memorable.
That's crazily creative.
That's crazily creative. I'm impressed by how your mind works, amazing job
One of those games that asks for patience and doesn't hold your hand. Putting the pieces together both physically and narratively was very fun and an interesting gaming experience. Hands down the most unique game I've played in the jam so far. Thank you for making and sharing this!
Thank you so much! It's very pleasing to hear that people take the time and solve the puzzle, it's very easy to quit in such a game (especially during a game jam)
Thank you for leaving a warm review!
Really cool story and the art style is amazing!
Cool Art Style
What a fascinating game. I was frankly, extremely confused at first, but after discovering the differences in text when matching features things got way easier as i could start checking if my choices were right. Experiencing hell also gave me a good chuckle. Artistically this game hits on everything i think it's trying to do, the representation of people through cutout caricatures to piece together their memory fits perfectly. Gameplay get's the short end of stick, but ultimately would be fixed with a better onboarding process. It's a game jam though, all of our games need better onboarding lol.
Will be keeping an eye out for any continuation of this, has potential for a short story game.
A very strange but lovely game of yours. Very nice art you have in your own hustled game designe. I dont have much too say exepct you are the best game dev ive seen in my whole entire life!! You will be rich and i will be the first mate who supported you along your hustly journy for richness. Please make sure to rate my game too,
remember this name, Malin. Beni Malin.
We don't now what to say, thank you so so much!
It's been amazing seeing all the positive feedback in the last few days. This is the best feedback we were ever given. Right now we are only students participating in game jams in their free time, but it's amazing to hear we will have support when we get to make a bigger project.
We will be sure to check and rate your game!
Thanks again for the warm review 🙏
The surreal collage style is really striking, and the face-building idea creates a memorable atmosphere!
I'm such a sucker for this art, this is absolutely oozing with style, amazing job!
Presentation is fantastic! I love the Dada-esque photomontage style of the game! Main critique is it felt short (definitely a good problem to have for game jam game) and I would have loved some feedback when I got a person "right" before the end screen. Maybe some more dialogue explaining that person when I get the portrait right? Maybe some more exploration of who I was?
Great work! One of my favourites of the jam so far.
Really happy you loved the game and the style! You are right about feedback, a few people pointed it out, if we were to rework the game in the future we will definitely add this mechanic.
Thanks!
Such an interesting visual approach and take on the theme. Great job!!
