I love the idea of this game, and this old OS aesthetic is one that I am very fond of! This game has great potential to become an agent of chaos crammed into a little 5-minute play session, if only there were a few more things to do!

Haha, you genius! I like your idea.

Fun, but it was a bit easy; I was a bit worried that there would be too many things to do under the 5 minutes. I absolute love the concept, though, and it has a lot of potential. I could easily see these elements in an updated version:

  • upload error for itch.io
  • sudden system update
  • checking bugs after exporting to web
  • more people playtesting Anyway, great concept!

Fun little experience! I enjoyed the vibe, just wish there was a few more bugs to find/problems to solve.

I think this is a great idea. I wish there was just a bit more to it! Overall a good start to everything.

I really liked this idea. Simple fun. I wish you could find more bugs and squash them all! Cool game :)

I did lol at the game score at the end :D

I knew someone would make a meta game like this, it was fun, if only getting first place of the jam was this easy :sob:

I also love the irony of the game being made on unity but the in game engine is godot lol. Overall good job on this entry, it was a good idea, might be lacking some content but i understand that this can be hard in the context of a game jam, keep up the good work !

This is super cool and creative! Amazing job

I loved your idea and the mechanics were very fun. I wish the game was longer but still it was a great game!

Yup. this is how game jams work! This was a really entertaining experience and I would've loved to see it expanded upon, but at the end of the day I got first place so maybe expanding on it would be foolish, as the game is already perfect. Very fun!

Who knew topping the lists could be so easy? An interesting experience, maybe a bit too short, but one that’ll stay with me well after the jam for sure. Great entry!

Pleaasseeee I'm getting war flashbacks

But it was fun :) I kind of wish there were more bugs you'd unearth by playtesting more. Or maybe some additional async tasks like actually "writing" the code while waiting for the art assets

What a silly meta-intepretation of the theme! I would have loved to see more bugs you can squash in different ways during testing! But the idea is great, just needs a little expansion :)

btw that platformer game is definitely 5/5 on all fronts yup truly a masterpiece

Very meta and funny take on the theme. I would've loved to see some more mechanics like more bugs to find during playtesting. Would be extra realistic if the itch page stopped working when you submit your game last minute

In short, that's how our game was developed.

I like the idea a lot! It's a shame it was so short, given the 5 minute timer. Would have loved to so more shenanigans!

Submitted(+1)

Fun idea! The only issue I had was that it was a bit too short. I would have loved to see several other bugs while playing and have to fix them one by one. Other than that the game was great!

Fun concept, very creative idea. Wish it was a little longer but I know the time is short in a jam like this :D

Damn! This game fits the topic so good. I loved the idea!
