It might be an issue on my side, but I could not see which button was the one to shoot, so I was not able to progress much
very intense, interesting gameplay, and when the shot happens its visuals and audio supports the feeling perfectly with freeze frame. good concept and execution!
really enjoyed this one, dueling to the beat is surprisingly fun, i'm not too good at rhythm games so i couldn't beat the bird . good work! :)
Really fun idea. Had some trouble to begin with, as the UI telling me how to shoot was cut off. Once I figured that out though, it was a really great rhythm game. I really liked how the difficulty escalated it felt very natural and worked well with how my understanding of the mechanics worked. I loved the character designs, especially the rats.
This game built on itself really well as it went on. Clean gameplay and great art - well done!
Epic rock-paper-scissors and literal SHOOT
Really enjoyed this! Wonderfully polished and excellent gameplay loop :)
I liked this one, really dig the characters art. Rhythm / beat detection seems to be on point.
Reasonable difficulty. Fun!
I love this games complexity and strategy! The art style is also amazing! Great job!
Yay, another game with cats! I think the rhythm aspect of this is super fun in theory, but I wasn't able to master it in practice. I don't have a duelist's brain, haha. Dying felt fun at least, because the art was so cool! I do wish the SFX/soundtrack had a bit more emotion to it besides just the beats.
Really cool idea. Felt very simple at first but enjoyed the complexity of the later enemies and figuring out the patterns. Enjoyed how the stress you feel as the duel goes on makes you more likely to mess up, matching how you might fumble a reload in real life!
Also, really good feeling effects on the bullet hits.
Interesting game but it feel it could be improved. For example, adding a beat or a song would make it more interesting and fun rather than just one beat. Counting down to the duel is a easy way to fit into the theme. But good effort overall.
I think it would be better to have a well-fit background music.
However, the SE was good, I enjoyed the game.
loool thats realy goood! nice idea.. kinda like rock paper scissors but in good way! i like it... i can imagine playing this vs my friend :D
This is a very interesting concept, it heavily reminds me of the 007 game I used to play as a child but in a very elaborate way where the strategy needs to adapt to the opponent! Quite fun :D
I'm so addictive to rhythm games, and this one caught me too! Very enjoyable gameplay. I cant see some ui buttons, because i cant enter fullscreen mode on browser, thankfully you uploaded windows build for that. I passed everyone before bird, idk how to beat this one, but gonna try later. Good entry!
Great fun. I love the rhythm idea
the game is very creative and fun to play , i love that you have the possibility to parry,
The only real issues this game has is the difficulty of the last fight and the text overlapping ,other than that the game is incredible Well Done !!!
This game is really fun. I love the premise. I finally beat that dumb bird that I hate. I think that the bird was a fun and difficult challenge, but the mentor boss battle is a really high and annoying-to-manage difficulty spike. I'm sad there's no shot sprite for the dog! I think the lack of music is okay, but music would definitely elevate the experience. I love this game. Also, the text would overlap weird. However, I love this game. The timing (except for during the final boss) feels great. The kitty reminds me of John Wick, which automatically makes me feel cool playing as it. If this game got a full and polished release, I would definitely play that, too. Excellent work!
Loved it! A lot of potential here.
The later level are hard tho. Also some text alignment issues in the cards.
The character art is so good! As another animal game submission, we love all the animal designs!
I did feel the controls to be slightly weird, with W, R, Space and Left click but arrow keys for selection? I feel that could be an easy but very rewarding UX fix by making the selection with S & D buttons so I don't have to move my hands around every round
Otherwise, I had a lot of fun playing it, and would love to see a post jam version with more fights and maybe stories!
