How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of a countdown timer, every input counts down your remaining moves. Plan carefully to reach the goal.

interesting take on limited moves! the dash mechanic is also unique! i can tell that you tested out the levels a lot, good game!

Great idea, style and gameplay!

I really like the solutions for these puzzles, and the dash integrates well into the levels! It's very easy to waste inputs, but I quickly got used to it, so that wasn't an issue.

your game is very unique, both UI and music were really nice. i enjoyed it lots. keep up the amazing work !!!

What a unique take on the theme! It really stood out to me. A limited number of moves in a platformer is such a good idea and it’s executed so well. The movement feels so smooth, and counting down the levels makes it that much more motivating to keep going for some reason? Also the music choice is very relaxing yet upbeat. I love the vibes of this overall. Very polished and well put together, with challenging levels on top of it. Good job!

Really good game, well executed, it was really fun !

The difficulty maybe grows really fast but it was challenging and rewarding, well done ! :)

I like this puzzle/platformer game! Awesome idea!

I’ve played some other limited move games before, but this one has definitely stood out! To be honest I thought the “exploit” of getting an extra movement by holding down a move felt like a cool skill expression rather than a real but. I think this has the potential to go from a gamejam to release complete game by having 20 levels and new mechanics like levers or buttons.Nice work!

such a fun game!

Im kinda terrible at it though.

this is a realy perfect game! i love the idea of the cave and that you need to go down in the cave. i actualy played a gmtk game more than 5 min for once. the idea of that the levels count down is so creative and a realy good detail to the whole game. i love the puzzel idea and that you have limeted movements. the dash is a realy good add-on to the whole game and i feel like it is realy uniqe and diffrent than other games. This is one of my favorite games on gmtk.

Smart take on the theme. It makes me feel like I usually smash all the keys on my keyboard at once damn. Finished the last one with 2 inputs left though ! Simple mechanics but well executed. The dash is a bit too powerful but I liked it :)

Wait... did you just make a puzzle for me? I was busy for 10 minutes trying to find your optimal solution to my game :)

Ahah glad I could do that :D

Its a tricky game but I felt happy after finding the solution. I like the dash mechanic and the chill music too!

I'm glad you like the difficulty. Thanks for commenting!

the game idea is really unique, but i think the levels  are really hard, but overall a good game.

Wow, thanks for the honest feedback about the difficulty. I hope you enjoyed finishing a hard level.

Submitted

Sorry maybe I stupied but how did I beat level 5?

Developer(+1)

Well, the most important thing is that you did! Thanks for playing!

Submitted

Okay, I'll go spend a few hours hoping that I can finally beat this game.

Wow! Very cool and well made game! It has a great look and feels really polished! I really enjoyed the limitation with the button inputs and the dash unlocking some cool puzzle mechanics. The puzzles were a bit tricky. I got stuck on level 3 a while, but then I figured out how to complete it. But I never completed level 2 and 1 :( But I will come back to this and try to beat those levels as well. I really enjoyed the puzzle design. Really well done!!!

I managed to complete level 2 and 1 now as well. Really enjoyed it! Good job! :)

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for coming back for the last two levels. :)

Lol it was so hard to not just instinctively play this as a platformer. The concept is quite unique and interesting. Especially the horizontal dash being a movement of it's own and using it efficiently. Well done!

Great feedback! Thank you!

Pretty cool game with a pretty cool look. I did find that you can hold directions before a reset and have them not count, but it's not too important for the game. It really makes you strategize how to go about each stage while conserving your inputs for later. At times it can be pretty challenging. Pretty cool game, good job!

Every game has some bugs :)

Thanks for the rating!

That was a really creative use of limitations, I had a blast playing it.

cool interpretation of the concept, i actually did a similar thing for my game funnily enough. the graphics are nice and minimal (i like the bloom effect!), though i think it would have been more aesthetically pleasing to stick to a nice looking color palette. i found it interesting that the dash kind of filled the typical role of the walk, but the walk was still needed to change direction. made me re-evaluate my understanding of platformers. additionally i found the death noise to be a bit loud, but all the other audio sounded great!

Thank you for the honest review! I also played your game and it is really well made btw.
