Way to turn an incomplete entry into a laugh! Also the art was very pretty.

Thanks, the art was the easy part. Glad you got a chuckle out of it - I was a little upset that the mechanics took so long to make that there is barely any content. Thanks for playing!

Hope you get it out someday, because the idea seems very interesting!

Developer

I mean, all it takes is all I said in the final screen, right? Piec e of cake! *cough* Someday is a lenient time, right? Thanks for playing!

I imagined it all, and it turned out pretty cool! 😜
Maybe it’s not a masterpiece, but you still managed to submit something  and that’s already a win. Great job!

Developer

Thanks... yeah, I just so managed to make something I didn't have to be too ashamed of publishing ;) But I do want to look into it a little more, I haven't done many of these arcade-like designs yet. Thanks for playing!

I, uh, my ears unfortunately. Didn't really get the movement and things happened a bit too fast. Love the idea though, excited to check it out when there is a more to it :)

Developer

Speed was the point, but I do believe I overdid it ;) Thanks for playing!

Won pretty easily by pushing the enemy into a corner. I like the idea of "jousting" to deal damage - there is definitely something there.

Overall seems a bit unfinished but has a really nice aesthetic and contains some good mechanic ideas.

Developer

It turned out that this being my firts "fighting" game required a little more design work than I found the time for. Thanks for the encouragment!

For some reason a sound plays every frame I move the mouse - ow my ears!

Probably my nemesis at work: sound gating. Sorry.

No worries - that's how jams go LOL

I think that the concept is really good but it's very hard to play this game. The mouvement seems to be blocked at the middle of the screen and I don't understand why and I don't get what the gauges represents. The main problem is that things are happening too fast, maybe slowing down the game would give the player some time to see what he can do.

Also, why is it named Labyrinthine when there is no labyrinthe lol?

Developer

Yes, the titel is a bit of wishful thinking. Ther is a sorta kinda laybrinth-like pattern on some visuals, does that count? ;) Anyway, yes, it's barely  a proof of concept because of short time.

I didn't think about it that way, of course it counts, you decide after all ahah

I had no idea what was going on, but I did win somehow. Would be cool to see a fully realised version, maybe tone down the sound effects tho, was very loud

Developer(+1)

I could have given a little more onboarding, true. Sorry for the noise and thanks for playing!

I didn't really understand how hitting the countdowns worked, but ended up winning anyway by ramming the circle. Nice visuals though.

What, this is my most sophistaced game yet... *cough* thanks for playing. It is very rough indeed. But you got it right that hitting stuff was the answer!
