dude, AWESOME game. I don't usually like card games but i do love shooters and the cards offer a nice depth and complexion to the gameplay. The card snapping is a bit annoying but it really doesn't matter when the idea and gameplay is so good. Srsly great game, looking forward to more

Cool game! I love the art on the enemies.

Submitted

Other than the already mentioned card snapping this game is fire, finding a strategy is so much fun!

I love the idea behind this game. I would recommend making it a little more clear if there's a limit to the amount of cards you can drag to the top bar, though, because I tried to drag more than one reload card but they wouldn't stick.

Developer

Heya, the snapping of cards to the top bar is a bit janky - the cards favor the left upper corner for snapping. That should be the issue at hand, since there is no limit to the amount or type of cards except the time limit! Thank you for your feedback, we will definitely look into it more though :)

Submitted

its a great take to the theme! small minor stuff like the card snapping to the bar is abit unforgiving and i want to be able to hold and shoot. good job btw!

Developer

Yeah we didnt manage to fix the snapping in time unfortunately. Holding to shoot is reserved for the machine gun!

Thanks for playing!

Great implimentation of the theme! The game allows you to stategize first before jumping into action, which makes it a fun break from over the top action shooters. the idea could work quite well if this is later turned into a full game! I personally didn’t really have much of an issue with the mouse inputs, but i wish there was just a bit more feedback and juice to the game, like when you shoot the enemies Good game overall!

Thank you so much! We hope to one day turn this idea into a full game so it's nice to hear encouragement!

Really nice gameplay idea! Placing the cards was a bit finicky but immediately made me strategize on how and when to use what. Cool game! :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, to fix some bigger issues we had to leave the card placing as is, but it's definitely on the list. Glad you liked it, thank you for playing!

Awesome concept and great execution ! I was hooked

With just a bit more work on the UI, it could really become a great game

Congratulations !

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your kind words, it's encouraging to hear them! :> We won't be leaving this project behind any time soon haha, hope you drop by to see some fresh levels ;)

Very fun genre fusion! Can't wait to see this after further development, especially if the combat phase has a faster pace.

Developer

Thanks!

Fun game! I love deckbuilder games and a deckbuilder fps is a really cool idea, I really like the idea of making the player decide between activating an upgrade and being vulnerable for a short time or focusing on killing enemies. The dragging of cards into the bar at the top was a bit janky but other than that good submission!

Developer(+1)

Sorry about the jank! Glad you had fun despite it!

Snappy game loop that blends two genres. Very creative, really liked it! For the future, I'd love to be able to move cards faster from the loadout into the timeline so the loop isn't interrupted as frequently.

Developer

Thanks! The UI definitely needs more work haha!

Yesss dude, The game-mechanic where you queue your powerups for the round in the timeline is a sick idea that could sustain a gameloop by itself. I want to play the finished version of this. Thoroughly creative design.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We'd love to make this our next project after we wrap up our current main game, so It's encouraging to hear interest in it!

Placing the cards is a wonderful idea. Even if I suck at fps this was really creative indeed sir. Great game!

Developer

Thank you!

I found your comment on my game amusing. Anyway, great mechanics, although I can't get past the fourth wave. Keep making games!

Thank you! You too!

Oooh placing the cards on the timeline is such a great mechanic!! Some cards I didnt really see the use of tho, like jumping higher, or maybe there are some combos that I didnt see? Thanks for the game!

Developer

There's a card that makes your damage higher the higher up in air you are! And high jump is also useful to just be able to get to safety in later levels. Thanks for playing!

Submitted

Oooh makes sense, might come back to it in the future to see those future levels!

Developer

we'd love to see you return! thank you :)
