Cool idea and nice artwork! You should try to develop this further after the event, when you have more time :D

Loved this game! Super charming and cute. The physics made me laugh, especially the tiny popcorn bag that could only hold two kernels, and the giant popcorn at the end totally caught me off guard. The art is adorable, and the whole game has so much personality. Had a lot of fun!
This game is absolutely adorable! I loved seeing the different designs for the customers and keeping the kernels from flying out of the buckets was a challenge. However I do think there wasn't a lot of feedback to know how I was scoring, I was kinda just playing blindly and enjoying the vibes until I got the score at the end.
Super cute tho :3
Love the artstyle and the character designs. The gameplay enjoyable, but I think it does not give enough feedback to the player. The popcorn should have visually changed to show if it is stale or not. Also giving each customer a different expression based on how well you did would have been nice. Also also the tutorial at the begining is a bit hard to read, the text should have been bigger.
Absolutely adorable artwork. When the very first guest faded in I audibly went "Aw" and I'm a grown man hahaha. Was then met with surprisingly difficult gameplay as I wasted 80 percent of my popcorn. Doesn't seem to be any scoring or way to tell how happy people were with the popcorn, but still very fun!
Very fun game! The art is adorable, I really like the diegetic UI, and even though I sucked at not spilling the popcorn, I think I did okay! (i spilled the last kernel... i felt so bad)
I think some more immediate feedback from the customers would be good. I did some science to figure out if they always left happy with whatever you gave them or not and gave one an empty cup, and they didnt seem to bothered by it. Maybe the real popcorn was the cup all along.
Regardless, well done! I had a good time with it.
It is art looking amazing!!! but can't play bc don't have enough space :(
The art was so amazing!! Love also the idea of popcorn. There were just the issue that you can give the customer with no popcorn and it will be count as good. But other than that. Great job!
I lovvvvve everything about this game!!!!! so so so charming and cute
I had a little scare when I shoved a popcorn bag into a big pile of popcorn and the game froze for a second with all the physics calculations, and I laughed out loud when someone showed up with a teeny tiny bag that only fit 2 kernels. the big popcorn at the end made my jaw actually drop, too, like WHAT!!!! I want to eat that. and then the end screen showed me(?) eating it and I was so happy.
My total score was 13,980 points and 14 customers served after my first run, I'm not sure if that's a great score and I had a bunch of already popped popcorn at the bottom that I hadn't served yet when the game ended but I had so much fun figuring out the mechanics and trying not to spill the popcorn bag hehe.
I'm especially impressed by all the art, there's so much of it and it's all adorable. My friend started working at a movie theater recently and I'd been thinking about also looking for a movie theater job, and this game kind of made me want to start looking. will be showing this one to the rest of my jam group :>
Wow!!! Such a cute game! I really liked the capsule art & ending scene art! My only complaint is it was a bit laggy when i was holding the paperbag and sweep it through the multiple popcorns and i would love to know how well we served our customers.
REALLY AMAZING WHAT YALL COULD ACOMPLISH IN 4 days, the game is super polished with the artwork and colour schemes really setting the vibe for the gameplay. Should make it more punishing for not properly fulfilling requests with a score or something though, well done regardless!
oh also itch won't link my submission so here it is /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4829252
This was so cute! I loved each of the characters, and the unique popcorn buckets was a nice touch. Very cozy and cute, great work! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
I adore the concept and the art so much! I really like the use of the theme in this one. I do think some feedback on the customer experience would be good. I initially played very slow, but I realized I could give them empty buckets and have that count as a customer served. I suspect that did lower my rating substantially but I did give away like 20 empty buckets.
I dropped a lot of frames when dealing with a lot of kernels. I imagine this is mostly my crummy laptop.
Very cute art, and fun idea to play with. Could use some more quality of life UI, like some indication of popcorn going stale and getting a rating from each customer.
