Music was very Layton-esque! I LOVE the voiceovers, it's higher quality than some big studios do! I can tell there's alot of content here, I couldn't finish the game since I have other games to review, but all in all, what an amazing game!

My face lit up when I heard the voice acting, I haven't seen anyone else do that yet in the jam! Combined with the art style  it immediately lends the game so much more presence.
I gave the truck a few shots due to objects getting evaporated. It feels like not enough physics solver steps, or something wrong with the object masses? I am glad you've put in a skip button, it would have been a shame to miss the remaining story.

Wanna see a magic trick? I'm about to make the stage equipment... *disappear*

I really like the flash game style of messing around with 2d objects with physics even though I got stuck on the microphone. You are good with stories, good fit for the theme, congrats!

Cute game, nice little storyline, the physics based minigames were a little jank but that's expected with so much freedom to control the object, gj! So far you're the only ones I've seen that did any voice acting, its really rare in jam games

Man, I only got up to the lights puzzle, the bit with "red" "yellow" "red" "yellow" and couldn't get passed it. So how come, despite me not getting very far, I had so much fun?
The answer shouldn't shock you: It's a great game. Cute sound, good voice acting, and everything about the presentation was just really cozy. I'm sure if I'd spent a bit longer on the lights, I'd have nailed it but for now I'm saving this to my play-again-after-jam when I have more time cause I wanna experience it all!

Thanks for the great game! I had a blast!

I liked it, it gave me Professor Layton vibes, though with more physics puzzles than anything else. Good idea having a skip level button, I needed that on the first task as I couldn't pick up the microphones! Good job overall.

This is clearly a very ambitious narrative-focused jam project. The visual style feels distinctive, and the amount of dialogue and voice acting is especially impressive. I also liked the color-based puzzle, which was probably my favorite part of the game.

Unfortunately, the story did not engage me that much personally. Since English is not my native language, I could not fully understand every detail, although I got the general themes of work, stress, uncertainty, and the characters’ concerns about their future.

The physics-based mini-games also felt quite rough. Objects often collided and vibrated unpredictably, and the microphones were especially difficult to move. I think those sections could have worked better with more controlled, scripted placement mechanics instead of relying so heavily on physics.

Overall, it was not entirely my kind of experience, but I can still appreciate how much work went into the presentation, narrative, visual style, and especially the full voice acting. That deserves a lot of respect.

This is an amazing game, the visuals are great, the voice acting is perfectly French. The attention to detail is also nice. I like that you put in the effort to add a scroll bar to a text box because of how long it was, The only part I think could use some work is the object physics. The items in the back of the truck were having a rough time.

This is exactly how I set up for a show with my band - yeet my guitar under heavy boxes in the van, and then stack stage props on whatever boxes we find and pray it doesn't fall.
Joking, this was a fun setup, loved doing a story about stagehands. I enjoyed the mix of narrative and minigame, I especially liked the lighting minigame. I did feel the dialogue  pacing dragged just a bit, it could probably be trimmed a little bit and still tell your story and themes.  Just a nitpick for polishing. Good job!

Hello!
Showing the game to ppl after the jam, I agree that the dialogue might have been dragging on a bit longer than it could've ! Maybe with more minigames (as was originally planned), it wouldv'e been less jarring?  Thanks for the comment and the advice - always looking to improve :)

I definitely think breaking up dialog with interaction helps - more minigames, but also maybe if I could walk around and choose who to talk to? I’d love to explore the backstage. I do also think with scriptwriting it’s typical to iterate and see what you can cut or reduce down without losing the story. It’s not fun, it’s called “killing your babies” for a reason, but it’s part of it. Good luck!

Really charming game; the art and voice acting made it such an enjoyable experience. The minigames were also a fun little break between all the story to make the game feel refreshing throughout!

Very charming! I enjoyed the narrative and the small puzzles along the way. I did manage to explode the objects in the van from cramping them too much haha. and I managed to get past the sun level by flinging the sun into the sky. Solid narrative game!

When testing for bugs, i put the godot editor in x16 speed. I think some snare drums reached light speed when doing that. Thanks for playing :)
