Congrats on submitting! A time-attack racing game built around managing championship points within a one-week in-game deadline is a really cool concept for a jam. The character art styles shown in the screenshots look very unique, and having custom voice acting is a massive plus for personality. Great job putting this together!

Really fun racing game with smooth movement, great character design, and hilarious voice acting. The amount of content, polish, and personality you managed to add in such a short time is impressive. Great job!
"TWO FOR ONEBAAAAAAA"
Yup, saw the thumbnail and knew this'd be the banger I thought it would be. As a Wipeout fan yearning for more speedy floaty racing games this scratched an itch I long thought repressed. Just enough weight to keep things controlled without being too finicky. SFX and the impeccable voice-acting just made the goofiness so brilliant and on-brand. Whole thing was excellent and I'll be coming back to this one I'm sure.
Easy favourites add! Smashing job!
What a banger. Love me some legally distinct pod resonance racing!
The controls felt really good, I wasn't quite sure how to handle the ramps in the early game without getting bounced, but I brute forced through! The lineup of characters, different vehicles and tracks felt massive for a 4 day jam and I was excited to unlock them all to get access to the best part - the voice acting! Can tell you had a lot of fun with this one.
I think it was the second to last track (?) with the figure of eight.. that one was a little confusing at first, I had to override my instincts to crush my enemies, and instead wait for them to show me where to go lol. I wish the jam gave you a little more time to polish the tracks and add some visual fx, but 4 days to put this out already seems like a hard crunch.
Oh and the little touch in the character portraits with them reacting to your boost/turns was great.
Galactic entry dude, looking forward to the next one.
Happy to hear you liked it. I would've loved a couple days to fix up issues, polish, and redesign the last two tracks. The 3rd track you found confusing I knew when I made it too. Pretty sure in my dev stream I said something like "they're not going to understand where to go", although ultimately you just have to get the 3 checkpoints and the path you take doesn't actually matter! The CPU racers will also randomly pick between doing a figure 8 or going out the outside. Clever to watch where they go and follow though.
Thanks for playing and taking the time to comment!
The movement was really fun , and the charcetrs and the sound they make was hilarious , GG
Pretty fun racing game! Feels like a prototype for what could be a FZero like game sold on Steam! The reaction feed on the bottom right corner was great along with the voice clips for the characters! And the music was very catchy and nice to hear.
Only weird things I noticed were that some physics were weird in some very especific places on track and there was this one time my car crashed and the camera went all over the place.
Other than that, I really fun experience with potential as a prototype for something bigger. Great work y'all!
very fun! love a podracer! only note was that on several ramps, the collisions were a bit strange, id always bump into them
had a lot of fun on this one, got stuck flipped upside down and my dude kept grunting lmao
Wow what a thrilling game. Im glad you streamed your creation process of this because it is incredible how you were able to make such a complicated game in a short amount of time. It is the perfect length and the difficulty of the racers are perfectly balanced as all things should be :)
Daaamn, this was really enthralling tbh. I found it a touch hard to figure out what was going on at first as the geometry of the levels and pods were a hard to control and read, but once I got into the rythem of boosting there speeds and learnt the maps I had no trouble getting that first place (up until the champion)
Really interesting art design and the way the character portraits moved felt quite inspired, like peering into their cabin. Very nice work!
Nice game, a little hard to control. Good work with characters, and the menu UI looks nice and clean, very Tron-like
Overall great work
Now THIS is podracing. I really love the sound and the driving feels pretty satisfying :)
it was fun, i enjoyed it. impressive that you managed to make this game in a short time. 3d portraits on the bottom corner are pretty cool :D
Ay its good to see a familliar face in this game jam! Really cool game! I love the character variety and the polish of the interactions. Though I did find one of the map a bit confusing with the arrows pointing on different directions (could be a me skill issue thing though). The art is very charming thoughb I do think it needs a bit more polish, but for the amount of work you've done in 4 days, this is quite impressive! The audio were great but I wish there were a bit more narrative context at the start but overall, I had a lot of fun! Great work!
With a jam this big I'd be more surprised if everyone weren't here! And unny enough the arrows were just there to let me orient the checkpoints after adding respawning mechanic last minute, so on map 3 where it's a figure 8 you end up passing through both ways making it technically wrong. I certainly needed a couple more days to polish and tune everything to perfection but that's the nature of a game jam.
Thanks for playing and commenting!
What a rush. the music was bugging out for me but the tracks sounded great of what i could hear. The first time i got major airtime I realized you understood the genre.
Haven't played any game quite like this in a long time, very creative!
wow this is awesome! I love all the designs and models! Its so cute! You did so great with this game! Congrats!!
