How does your game fit the theme?
The theme “Count Down” is built into the main mechanic. Each floor gives the player a limited countdown representing their remaining humanity. Movement, attacks, and abilities reduce the timer, while defeating demons restores time. If the countdown reaches zero, the player is fully corrupted and becomes a demon.

The concept suit the counting down theme so much, game's mechanic is so cool !!!  We ran out humanity time again and again 𓉸 But we weren't tired of playing many more rounds, the more we play, the more fun the game becomes. Great game !!!

this game is built for speedruns. i cansee a lot of streamers playing it. audio needs working

Super interesting concept here! It almost incentivizes a speedrun of the game where you don't use any special abilities - the farther you go, the better. I'm motivated to keep going and see what else the game holds.
I love the look and music especially! If you were to expand this a bit, I think a wider field of view would help against some of the trickier platforming. Great work overall

Love me some 2D platformers, movement feels very fast and fluid which is nice.

The level design could use some touch-ups, the death pits and leap of faith drops remind me of AVGN Adventures.

But old school vibes are always fun, good job on the jam!

Developer

Thank you soo much for the feedback , will certainly improve on that part.

I wish  there was more visibility when moving.

Developer

Haha we wanted to capture that more of a leap of faith when time is ticking out kinda mechanics .

First level was a nice starting point to get familiar with the timer and. I had a lot of trouble with the second level and couldn't complete it. During the downward platforming section it was difficult to see where I needed to land below. Having a little more visibility downward either by zooming the camera out slightly or allowing players to look down using the existing crouch mechanic you have could make that section feel better. I eventually made it through and reached the giant slime, but I ran out of time before I could finish and didn't want to attempt the downward platforming again.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback , we designed level 2 in a challenging way and we will certainly take that feedback into consideration .thank you for trying out our game :).
