This was actually really satisfying. The amount of control you have with just one button to jump or drop or parry really makes it a skill check instead of rng. The visuals and transitions are satisfying, and the theme is implemented pretty creatively, counting down the vertices instead of a standard health bar or something.

Well done!

Its so satisfying when you fly with the parry. pretty good mechanics and simple!

Why is no one taking about this one? Great game!

The parry could use a little tweaking on the feedback, that's the only thing that got me confused if I was doing right or not.

Great concept ! Takes a little while to get the hang of it, but then it works dung well :-) Great work!

Lovely little creative and minimalistic concept. Always love to see a simple mechanic that goes a long way, unlike my overly-complex mechanics that aren't as fun 😆

i really enjoyed playing your game. Very unique idea! :)

Fun game! Very satisfying to get the parries. Also very interesting that everything is done through a single key, but it worked surprisingly well.

This brings back fond memories of a game I used to play called dune.

Nice game! Once i figured out what i was doing it was quite fun! I would love to see this developed further with some sort of progression mechanics, it really reminds me of those flash games where you have to launch a character as far as possible.

Very fun idea. Loved the parrying, felt like skateboard or snowboarding.

Only wish was that the keys to drop/parry and jump were separate, as I would go to jump but wasn't on the ground yet, so I would  just slam into the floor.

Great work :)

loved the art! felt it was a bit hard to parry just kept smashing into the enemies. played loads

best strategy so far is button mashing lmao, at first i thought the beetle had a friend at the end before i understood they got cut in half :(

Cute game! I enjoyed playing it :) and nice sounds.
Some feedback: I had some trouble with the spacebar switching between jumping and dropping. I automatically used it for a double jump, but then you drop... and crash into stuff. lol

For how simple this is it might be the game I've had the fun playing so far, the use of the countdown theme is really fun and the simple art looks great.

Needs more ramps! Fun game that would work well on mobile

I love the artwork. Game is really simple and easy to learn, the only thing I would add is a different button for parrying, everything else is really fun to play.

got 163 score, nice little one button game. very simple game with suprising depth. nice

Super cool idea, I feel like a bit more polish and a bit more cohesion in the obstacles and environment visuals and it would have really came together. It's pretty tough, too. Not that that's a bad thing. A visual indicator for the parry would be nice too, at the end of a run it said I had 25 parries and I didn't even know if I was parrying or not during the run.

The jam theme is played out in an interesting way! It's beautifully executed! It's funny to see the moment when the ball reaches the final stage.

Cool idea that the health is your verts, it would be really cool if you could incorporate that into how the ball moved. I found parrying tricky as it seems to make you jump too, and then you just fall into blocks
