How does your game fit the theme?
You throw a rock and as it's falling down, you must count the seconds until impact so you have a mental map of how long you have to trick out while diving :)

I love this! It took me a second to figure out that the objective was, but once i did it was pretty fun
Hello
somehow you assessed our game if I’m not mistaken and I found time to play yours
your game gave me a lot of laughter thank you very much it is simple and at the same time very interesting good job!
really satisfying play! the combo sfx were nice. i enjoyed figuring things out on my own and somehow managing to get a higher score. the little pink man is also cool
When I throw the rock it doesn’t seem to match the time hitting the water yourself. I throw the rock, count a second and drive. I hear the rock splash, go shrimp and .... wait quite a bit longer than a second.
It was a lot more fun than I thought at the start; I thought the shrimp position was also just style points, so I died a couple of times but then I figured it out and after a couple of rounds I got 920.000 points!
OH this is a really cool idea! I'll be honest, I almost found it easier to score well without using the rock and just guessing from previous jumps—though it seems variable, right? So maybe I'd have been better off with the rock after all... But yeah, I love the vibes here, it's a very chill game that reminds me a lot of playing flash games in my youth. Does exactly what it sets out to do and no more, and I admire that a lot :)
You've discovered the meta >:) welcome to the superior no-rock gang
The cliff height is variable though yes! So the rock caaan can be useful on occasion.
I've been on somewhat of a flash game bender recently, I think that may have spilled into the creation of this game a bit lol preciate you playing!!!
I love jumping of a cliff to my death, very fun game and I love the art
fun game, but im taking away 10 billion points for making me bring out my 100% keyboard, unaccepable, but in all seriousnes, i really enjoyed the game
This game is super fun and well polished. I was a bit confused by how scoring works, and I couldn't really hear the rock that well. The aesthetics were really cool tho and the juice is really strong. Great work :)
thanks fir giving it a try and thanks for the feedback! :) I should have blasted the gain on that rock_splash.wav and definitely made the scoring more clear for sure.
The developer blindness definitely got to me there - "Oh, you guys didn't know that if you stack modifiers, don't throw the rock, pinball between the walls and hit a perfect shrimp formation at the end you could get >5,000,000pt?" Like bro no of course not, they didn't spend a week making your game lol
Not sure how I feel about the theme of jumping off a cliff. That aside, I'm kind of curious what purpose the rock has. Because not sure if there is any value in knowing how long the fall takes. Maybe if you could pull a parachute or diving position or something to land safely after your tricks then the timing might be important. Death every time feels kind of like losing regardless of the score. If that's what you going for then cool, but otherwise it might be nice to have a win condition.
valid criticisms! thanks for taking the time to play it and share that. I messed around with the mechanics of the rock so much to the point where, you're right, it kinda became a less important part than I initially imagined it.
In theory though, the rock should help you gauge how tall the cliff is since it changes across each play.
But to add insult to injury to the poor rock mechanic, if you truly want to win, you'll need to use modifiers - 1 of which eliminates the use of the rock entirely lol.
There is a win screen waiting for you though! You're just gonna have to figure out how to cheese the tricks, modifiers, and hidden modifiers to get that 2 milly! gg
This is the kind of game I like hahaha It's hard to get good. A good and fun mechanic and cool multipliers. Congrats!
