Stunning artwork and excellent music! The unconventional mouse anchor points make the operation a bit awkward, but overall, it's a high-quality mini-game!
The game not only took count down as a theme, but it also derived it to a clock tower from which they expanded upon, which pushes the level of creativity a step further.
We can realize that fact from the mini-games (but also the concept art and the narrative design) that are themed with gears, power sources and valves, naturally in sync with the count down of time of the tower.
Mechanically, having multiple mini-games that rely on different mouse movements and inputs added a lot of randomness, or rather variety, which could be a reason why the gameplay did not feel repetitive, but rather it felt rewarding as you became better at them.
Visually, I applaud the amount of effort placed not only on the assets for the game, but also for the itch page. And I really like the attention placed on the character designs for their marionette style, their clothing and even the details like the buttons.
In addition, I believe adding a final encounter was a great decision in order to "complete" the story due to the importance of narration.
Moreover, this game stands on itself, as all criteria are balanced together, rather than having one or another criterion being the main focus of the game design, which I believe is phenomenal!
I believe we have a winner :)
Really loved overall aesthetic, music, sounds, artwork! Nice little mini-games.
Oh. My. God. In 96 hours? Insane, this game is so polished, the sound was amazing, simplistic gameplay but very fun.
The overall game is very impressive. Art, music, story, gameplay.
I kinda feel it's hard to comeback from heavy slowdowns. I think it would be cool to have some kind of comeback mechanic maybe get more time if the minigame is completed under a certain amount of time.
So impressive! Its so immersive, it really sucks you into the world! One of my favorites so far. ♥️
Awesome work from a team! The style, programming and art all cohere seamlessly! Really impressive to make this in 4 days.
Very polished and fun game!
The mini-games feeds into the core loop of the game!
The presentation really is fantastic and such a nice narrative to tie the countdown theme together.
What a great game you've made!
Amazing artwork. Well done!
Wow
It's so polished, so satisfying, and the story is so charming. My favorite minigames were the jiggling from the gears, and the crystal polishing, mostly because I like using my mouse to tactilely interact with the game. Also, it may go underappreciated, but the sound design is so satisfying for those puzzles, and I really like the slow down and music distortion when you're running out of time.
it makes a lot of sense why you're in the top 5, you guys are giants right now!
Really cool game ! Fun to play ! A really beautifull artwork !
for such a short period of time this is beatutiful
the art is what makes this game stand out the most, it is really nicely done. but it is not the only good thing about the game. the concept of reapairing a clocktower is amazing use of theme, very very very creative approch.
Great Art, beautiful music and audio. Simple but fun game mechanics. New ideas were introduced at a good pace, and it all ends with a fun boss fight that combines them all. If I had to say something negative, it would likely be that I felt like maybe it was a bit too easy. There could maybe have been some things that took time away from the character a bit more to apply some pressure, but it's a minor nitpick because overall I really liked this game.
Cool concept, you guys really nailed the storytelling and the art. Loved the aesthetic
Really nice experience and really well made game. The artwork is also really good. I love it.
The team really did a great job!
I absolutely love the art! And the sound design and music, just amazing! Such a talented team, congrats!!
