How does your game fit the theme?
While the tower falls apart and the monsters surround you, you have to quickly reach the bottom and chain spell after spell.

Really cool idea! At some point I felt like my spell choices didn’t matter too much, so I ended up spamming the horizontal orbs too maybe that’s just me being bad haha. Still, the concept is super fun and the spell‑casting method is really creative. Well done! (pls play my game )

At some point I started feeling like it didn't really matter what spells I cast, so I just started spamming three horizontal orbs. probably just me being bad ahahah nice game overall, well done!

Interesting idea but quite hard to understand (and read) the rules. I also didn't get why would i need increased mana when it's auto restored after each spell. Nonetheless, good job!

It took me a little bit to figure out how to play. I couldn't read the tutorial text that well. I tried maximizing the game because I thought it might help with readability but it wasn't maximizing either (that's probably my browser though). I think I figured it out after a few minutes though and I was taking out lots of enemies. It's a interesting idea. I don't think I've played a game with that mechanic before.

Really tough to read the text (esp the spell text on the scroll since it's almost the same color), which made it tough to work out what was going on. I'm not entirely sure I played correctly? But I killed some monsters, so something must have been right haha. Overall I think this is a really cool concept. The spellcasting method felt so delightfully wizardy! Your monsters were also fantastic. I think the squishy slime was my favorite. :)

The font's a little small and hard to read, but the gameplay is really unique and interesting. Love the art assets and music as well. Hope you develop this idea further, congrats on completing the game jam!

the spark spell *seems to be* op.  most enemies seem to only take damage from spark.

there's a lot going on in the interface of this game.  I like the idea of using directional input to create spells, but all the other stuff was mostly just confusing to me.  definitely has good stuff in it, maybe just needs some simplification?

The font choice was not a nice choice, it became difficult to read.
Would also be nice to have a spellbook to see. I have 7 mana to use, but had no idea other then a few spells i figures out with 3. Clues would of been nice. Last bit of feed back, is there was a lot of things drawing my eyes on the screen and it would be nicer if you made the important parts more visible.

Was a nice game, and has more potential then my game. I liked how the spells i casted had its own sfx

The idea is solid but I think I somehow had infinite mana and could spam like crazy.

played the web version. got stuck  inside the shop. but i was enjoying it up to that point. Gonna give the downloaded version a try later  tonight :)

Liked the art!

I love the idea! Definitely could use some fleshing out but there was some good stuff going on and the enemy art was so fun!

Very interesting combat system! It gets a bit trivial once you understand it but for a game jam this is great!

I like the different spells you can create, although I wasn't able to find any beyond 3 up, 3 down, and 3 right (maybe I'm just blind). Very interesting and fun!

I love the art and SFX on the game. I think the combo system could be explained more. Reminded of slay the spire. Awesome work!

Once I learned some combos by hard I quickly had a lot of fun playing this neat game. Crazy how much you managed to fit it into it, in this short of a time frame! Great job!

Love the art and the gameplay! The spell system is kind of difficult to understand in the beginning. But it turns really fun when I get used to it.

Don't know if it's a bug or not. I can drag the ui in the middle.

Art and effects are pretty cool but I do find the UI a bit difficult to understand. With a bit of polish it would be a pretty original game! Good job!

really cool spell system! i found the UI a little tricky to navigate and read, so took me some time before i realised what was happening/what i needed to do. but overall really liked the art style and the concept!

There's the bones of something pretty great here, and if this jam was a week long rather than 4 days I think this could've got there. The spellcasting system is very tactile and memorising the patterns makes you feel like a wizard more than selecting one from a list or pressing a button, and the fact that there are quite a lot of enemies with different resistances and such makes you need to know a few spells.

Unfortunately, it's hard to experiment with the spell grid when the timer's breathing down your neck, and I found I didn't need more than the basic 3-line spells to get to the bottom. Also, I couldn't  figure out how to remove/sell items from my inventory. I really hope you keep working on this though, it's super cool! Great work
