Really nice! I would have made it so you can pick up items instantly rather that after countd...HOLD ON, I see what you did there! Good use of the theme overall
Very nice idea but aiming with teh guns while the timer is so big in the middle of the screen is almost impossible if the enemy is far away D:
Cool idea though I couldn't figure out how to do much damage to the enemies?
Cool idea and well done movement! You should try to develop this further after the event :D
I'm stuck on the first level because the katana doesn't deal any damage .-.
i was about to give up because of a bug (i have made a screenshot) and also, the game look a bit to difficult for me. But i tried with a controler and dude, the game feel of the wall walking is so cool. Unfortunatly i didn't go this far but, you really made a great game
This is a very ambitious game for a jam!
Really solid FPS experience! It’s crazy how much was achieved in just a few days. The gameplay has a lot of energy and the presentation feels polished.
The idea is interesting, but I think the execution could be improved.
If you look at games like Ghostrunner, enemies are usually taken out in a single hit, which keeps the gameplay fast and fluid. Giving enemies health and quite a lot of it slows the pace down much more than I expected.
The same goes for picking up weapons. Having to hold the button for so long forces you to stop moving, which, in my opinion, goes against the fast-paced gameplay the game seems to be aiming for.
One last thing: the counter blocks quite a bit of the screen. Keeping it in the same position but making it slightly transparent could make it easier to see what's happening behind it
good fps game but the countdown is pretty annoying like its placement
Crazy that this was made in four days, the only issue I have with the game is that the timer centered in the middle of the screen is pretty annoying and this was what made me leave the game, other than that it's a very solid entry!
Really cool FPS game, I have made a lot FPS games but not this level just in 4 days
Really cool and fun game! I was a bit overwhelmed with all those control options at the beginning but really enjoyed afterwards! :D
Interesting game and choice of engine. Had a lot of trouble learning the controls, might be good to teach those to the player diagetically in the future. Liked the soundtrack a lot! good job!
game is cool but i think there's a few design decisions that really slow down the pace, especially for a game where the goal is to go fast. enemies are bullet sponges where you need to stand still and just trade shots rather than continuing to traverse the map, and having to hold E for so long to interact is brutal. still a solid game despite that, the sounds, levels, and sandbox work well!
Yup, everyone else is calling it as well. The count down text is not needed where I am aiming the gun. Would be cool with a level restart too instead of a complete game restart.
Regardless, good job and nice fluid combat
Very nice art, good thinking with using the engine this way. And the countdown and the audio provided and interesting vibe, reminding me of games like Superhot and the Tales Principle. BTW, could you also try my game? Thanks :)
It was kind of difficult to know what to do in the first level as the control screen was pretty small, but after that it got really fun.
Really cool game and it feels really nice to play. I think the countdown in the middle of the screen kind of blocked my view, so it was hard to see what I was aiming at. Also I never figured out how to complete level 3, when I jumped on the bounce pad I just bounced forward. But I enjoyed playing it, I especially really like the parkour segments! :)
It would be nice if you didnt have to restart from level 1 when you died, but other than that I think it was really nicely done!
Great job!!!
It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out how to pick stuff up. Still, there was a lot of polish on what you guys did and I had fun playing it once I figured that out. I did have to play further zoomed out than your suggested level because I couldn't read the text at 50% zoom level, but I didn't notice any real problems from that.
Good job!
