How does your game fit the theme?
Down to Timing turns the countdown into a gameplay tool, where players must listen, count, and learn the timings of their movements to make their way down each level before the clock runs out.

blind games are always hit or miss for me. I would need way more sound cues (walking, on the wall, edge) to have a better sense. but its a interesting gameplay mechanic. I love the shader you put in!
Interesting gameplay concept, I liked it. Perhaps you could add some tiny sounds if I touch a wall, but this is not so important
This is a neat idea! A bit unforgiving at times, but the cleverness of the idea makes up for it. With some tools to help the player out a bit, this would make for a really fun time!
The game idea is really great, but execution could have been better. Art and level designs are great. Welldone. <3
So I think that the could be improved if there was either a preview of the levels or if it was a auto scroller where you had to match the beat. It's surprisingly hard to judge where to jump if you haven't jumped there before, and making it a auto scroller will make it easier to time with the metronome help players with level cohesion. Right now there is very little to do with the metronome that you provided and even less reason to stay with the beat. Just a simple fix that could help make things interesting!!

Appreciate you sharing it on stream and providing the link. Thanks for playing!
Really creative
Very cool. Frustrating. But very cool. I think a preview of the level before being blinded would make this mint.
Can be frustrating when needing to see the level before making it through. But so satisfying to nail it first try
The concept is great, although I will say that having a 3 seconds countdown instead of a 4 seconds countdown can really mess up your rhythm - also I feel like movement should be a little more "floaty" and require to execute actions in halves instead of fourths, just because it would feel a lot more natural with a slow bpm. Overall though, good concept and I think it has a lot of potential to be expanded :D
Its wayy to tight and unfair, maybe you should have playtested it a bit to see what is too hard for players, as the dev you think that if you can do the the player can, but they dont have the same level as paitence as you do for yourn own game
What a unique idea! It's a challenging game, but I loved it!
Yup, too hard for me, gave up on level 3, you should either make it so that there is some breathing room, not perfectly precise jumps. Although that feels like "it's challenging" It really isn't, it's more like ragebait. But maybe I'm just not the audience for it.
The game design suits the "Count Down" theme perfectly, nice game! One small suggestion, during the count down before game starts, it might be better to let players see the scene so they can adjust their movement at the beginning of the level.
Fun game and really cool idea. Super hard though, it took all my will to get to level 9. It might be a bit easier if you didnt grip the walls so much. On my last attempt I found I'd failed because I was clinging to the wall above the goal haha.
Played this on the recommendation of a teammate and he was right this is really addicting, having to rewire how I thought about the levels as abstract commands instead of concretely seeing what's in front of me was difficult but made finishing every level extremely rewarding.
difficult but fun and very unique I havent played a platformer similar to this good job (:
wow its really cool game,i struggle a lot (coz im playing with no volume)
Interesting premise but kinda frustrating to play in practice. Seeing the replay made me just try to play from memory and my memory's not great! I think having a more exact time (like seeing fractions of a second) might've helped with the cues for me.
This is awesome. I am TERRIBLE at this, but it's cool! lol :D I like how it's kind of like a mini rhythm game! I worked on nailing down time through the ticking lol.
But this was super interesting accessibility style experience too. Grea game, beautiful cohesive visuals, and all around just a wonderful submission!
Super fun! And as an added bonus it worked great on mobile :)
