Very fun! I loved the mechanics.

Very unique and creative. One of the most distinctive interpretations of the theme. I had a lot of fun playing it.

The game is fun, perfectly suits the theme, and the graphics and sound are top-notch. I only noticed a bug: when you reach a level and go to the level menu, you have to replay the previous level.

Developer

Good catch! Will fix in post jam. Glad you liked it

This game is awesome from every standpoint—art, music, and gameplay.

GG, guys!

brilliant idea. loved it.

Thats a lot of content and very polished game. Love the winding up mechanic and all the bosses.

Wonder if you could make the time bar a health bar as well though, that might be fun. Also maybe a bit up buffing to the bosses by knocking the main character away a bit. But just some thoughts I had, Giving it five stars for enjoyment :)

Developer

Great ideas! I thought about bouncing the player further from bosses too. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Woah, that's a lot for a 4 day jam. I absolutely loved all the designs for bosses - really great stuff. Generally the game has a lovely aesthetic/vibe to it.

The winding up was becoming tiring as I was playing, thank you for adding accessibility options :)

Developer

Yes the winding can be tiring, especially after 4 days of development :) glad you enjoyed it!!

Really nice artstyle and great concept. The winding mechanic is super fun and the level design was great. When it came to the bosses I liked the designs but they were way too easy to beat, you could easily quickly 3 shot them and they couldn't even get their attacks in. But overall loved it!

Developer

The bosses difficulty is the top feedback we got! Will try and address this after the jam

Thanks for the comment and glad you liked it!

Adorable and fun. Only thing is the bosses could do with more health and some invincibility frames. Very lovely and well made.

This is a super polished game! Impressive! I used the trackpad to wind-up the mouse, felt just perfect. That's a nice game to think mobile :)

Developer(+1)

Yes! I played it on my phone and the winding was perfect! Will add virtual joystick after the jam ends.

Glad you enjoyed it!

WOW, this is the best game I have played by FAR!!! Everything about this is amazing!!! The theme integration, the creativity, the art, the music, the sfx, the level design, the polish and any other aspect I cant think of right now. 5 stars across the board (except for narrative). Mind blowing. I am very impressed!

Thanks a lot for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it

I really enjoyed the antique clock aesthetic of the game and the wind up backpack was a really interesting mechanic. I had a lot of fun playing this game.

The moment i understood that you can control the mouse while moving the game became way more fun, the only thing i would add to this game is making the bosses have more health  other than that the game is  Incredible!!!

Developer

Yes we allows to wind up while you slow enough - it's always a challenge to explain everything. Several people mentioned the boss difficulty - I think in hindsight I would try to find a way to prevent double attack, which is very similar to more hp honestly

Glad you liked it!

WOW, this game is polished! The concept, the visuals, the audio, it's all there!

Submitted(+1)

Very cool game, loved the art and music, took me way too long to realise you could move while not stationary

Developer

Yeah we felt it might not be clear, but weren't sure how to explain it.. glad you figured it out and that you liked it!

Great idea anf great result! I love the idea of spining your mouse to spin the mouse in game lol. Also the art is fantastic.

Submitted(+1)

woah! that artwork is fantastic!!

Submitted(+1)

Really fun. I enjoyed that. However it was a little easy and the bosses were push overs. Also what was the point of the coin/nuts pick-ups?

Developer

We had trouble defeating our own game for much of the jam, and weren't sure if people will handle the controls well - we probably made it too easy to compensate.

The nuts are for extending the time before you lose, which was probably non relevant for you as you beat the game easily :)

Yeah balancing is hard when you have no time for QA

Really cool game mechanic! It was satisfying to zoom and hit enemies. Sometimes the bosses can be killed easily if you can quickly get three attacks out at the start, so maybe give the latter bosses more health? Especially with the final boss, I got lucky and was able to kill it immediately. But still an awesome game overall!

Developer

Yes we considered giving the last boss more health, but ran out of time to design a 5 hp bar. Other solution could have been some sort of shield for the boss for a short time. We eventually elected to keep things simple and easy.

Thanks for your comment and glad you enjoyed the game!
