How does your game fit the theme?
Shelter No.17 is built around a literal 14-day countdown until the blast door opens. Every day brings new moral dilemmas, dwindling resources and consequences from previous decisions. Each choice also burns down the warden’s cigarette and mental resilience, creating a second, personal countdown toward exhaustion.

Very atmospheric and stressful!
Fantastic presentation
Nice atmosphere. The Warden Condition indicator is a nice touch!
Damn, this is so amazing! What a thorough experience, feeling all the ups and downs that come with every little decision you make. As a parent, I’m definitely not cut out for the shelter lead. Such great work!
I’m completely drained!
Two runs — and BOTH TIMES I was just one day away from opening the shelter! What the hell was a kid even doing in an abandoned mine, and how did they manage to get stuck in a freaking hatch?!
Your game made all the problems I had today feel like nothing compared to the absolute nightmare the shelter residents went through. I haven’t felt this stressed, desperate, and emotionally destroyed by a game since Frostpunk and This War of Mine.
One small request: I’d love to see the Residents and Stress stats on the paperwork-signing screen. It would make those decisions a lot easier to understand.
Do I really not get enough tough decisions in real life that I have to deal with this in a game too?! 😭 This is morally heavy, atmospheric, looks great, and makes you think long and hard about every choice. The beginning perfectly sets up what awaits you – decisions that no one wants to take responsibility for. A brilliant game. Huge thanks for your work.
(On the start of the last day in my calendar it said '1', but the night before that I ran out of resources, so I'm not sure I actually made it to the end. Either way, the remaining five survivors didn't stand a chance, judging by the ending description.)
It's rare to find a game that hits this hard emotionally – you've created something truly memorable. Thanks!
As a fan of narrative games like this, I really enjoyed the story. It gave me some *Frostpunk* vibes. I almost made it, but I got kicked out of the shelter with just two days left.
Great game! one of the best of its kind in this jam that I've played so far, That first decision with the doctor I think ruined my medicine for the long run haha, I think the music was quite loud although good and fitting, it's just I couldn't hear any of the sound effects, I only realised there were sound effects when the music quieted down, either way good stuff!
Very interesting game. I found it quite difficult to balance, felt like it all spiraling out of control. also i lost all my medicine on like 4th day lol
Good job!
This is a really great take on the theme. Very familiar with this style of game from playing Reigns and I love it. The games themed around a shelter really hits that "fallout but serious vibe" and I really dig that. One of my favorites of the jam. Well done!
paper’s please likes are my jam, & this is some good jam in the gamejam
I liked the bgm its very good, I reeelly felt the preessure and stress.
This is worth the play.
nice work!
Really tense game! The resource management is really cool. I got into a state where I couldn't sign the end of shift ledger (I had 0 medicine) but there also wasn't a button to click to 'lose' or anything, I just got stuck on that screen. Overall awesome game, I could see this being really fun to run a whole play-through of. I would love a way to sacrifice some resources I have plenty of to get resources I had few of every once in a while.
Really nice and well thought out dilemmas. Overall feels polished! Could maybe use some occasional 'minigames' to take a break from the decision making, but I loved it nevertheless.
Very cool!
Really cool presentation, really gives you a feel for the place and atmosphere. Fun take on the Reigns mechanic.
The art style is stunning! The game was a little challenging for me, but I absolutely loved the aesthetics and the overall vibes. Good job!
