Love the art style and premise. I admit I got stuck very early; I tried to snap pictures of the benches to match the photo in the upper right and tried to interact with the things in the park by pressing E but nothing seemed to progress the story. I'll try again after the jam.

ah! that is unfortunate, i see some players are having trouble! Hopefully you can give it another shot after we polish it more. Thank you for playing it!

The billboards are so well executed i didn't even realize they were billboards at firs! Really well developed narrative in such a short time, You guys absolutely cooked. My only real piece of feedback is that it would have been nice to let us take pictures whenever, even if it doesn't advance the story, but i get why you prevented the player from doing that, since you wanted a specific shot.

There were so many things that we wanted to add! Thank you for checking out the game, your kind words, and also your suggestion! The team really worked hard on this one and we hope you enjoyed it!

Both of them were grieving in their own way, the cousin in the photos and the protagonist quietly holding the camera. They just loved their grandma differently. Such a beautiful game.

Developer

Thank you so much for noticing that! the writers did a great job directing that last frame! Thank  you for playing the game all the way through and leaving such a kind comment!

What a lovely game experience! Authentic dialogue is one of the hardest things to write in such a short span of time, and I think your writers did an excellent job... and the gameplay, while simple, felt like it effectively added a new dimension to the dialogue. The art (especially the snapshots!) was also fantastic. It's been such a joy to play more games like these since the narrative category was added; thanks so much for sharing this lovely, bittersweet experience!

We aimed to make a grounded game with a compelling story and our writers worked hard and fast! Could not be happier with what they came up with! I really appreciate you checking out the game and leaving such kind words! <3

Gorgeous! I literally want to live inside this little pixel world. The vibes are so soothing. Art and music were just a delight. Special mention to the writing and story. Natural dialogue is hard and you absolutely nailed it.

Developer

We worked super hard for the vibes! I am glad it immersed you! Thank you so much for playing our little game!

Splendid, splendid game, the ART is a master piece, as much as the ambiance and message

Thank you

Suuuupeeeerrrr immersive, the artwork and music work in union to really pull players into the story. The phototaking mechanic and the small minigames really add life to the narrative. I can see alot of effort and passion was directed into this project and I really enjoyed playing this (well I watched someone play through this but still) well done!

oh also itch won't link my submission so here it is /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4829252

Very beautiful game! The art really immerses you, and the music was very soft and warm. Really tugged at the heart strings, and captured the beauty of photography. Narrative was amazing! All around a fantastic game!

Developer(+1)

Our Composer really cooked with this one! I am glad you enjoyed it!

very nice and pretty game. my one gripe is that the little minigame for the camera just felt unnecessary and didn't fit the vibe of the game to me. kind of broke my immersion. but all in all a nice story and a pleasant experience. lovely art

Developer(+1)

Yeah the QTE didn't turn out super well haha, we wanted to do more with it, but we didn't get around to it! Thanks for playing!

I felt so emotional for so many reasons. I'll start this review by thanking you for creating this piece of art. It is beautiful. The story is sad and it happens to everyone, it is a sensitive topic and you were so delicate and lovable about it.

Now, the way you used the amazingly drawn assets was so good! I love picking flowers and it felt just so good to do it because everything was so pretty.

Anyways, congrats, it is a truly beautiful piece of art. I took a picture of her, so pretty :)

Very impactful little game that y'all have made here.

Music was great. Definitely set the mood and established a feeling of loss so to speak. Especially in the final day. It really made me stop for a min knowing what was coming ( Which I suppose was the intention )

I'm not sure how to describe the art tbh. The jittery painted style felt like the remnants of a fading memory in a way. Pretty somber all things considered, but I guess the aim was to show how the protag felt with the way they saw the world ? Idk, but it does look great.

All in all, y'all made a pretty damn compelling narrative game here. Kudos to the entire team

Developer(+1)

Thanks man! Seriously, really solid project you uploaded, you always make the dopest stuff, love your style!
