The environment looks decent.  Very short and simple.  Music and sound effects would easily have enhanced it.  For example, people banging on the door.

Thanks for playing! I completely agree. I'll definitely try to add them in a future update. I appreciate the feedback!

Eric sent you 6 codes, each tied to an illegal thing

I need better friends haha!

Do not enter the basement until final code. Good luck.

In hindsight, I didn't realise that a hole in the ground was the basement, and after dropping down and entering a code I saw on the floor of the room above, nothing happened - did I win? Or did I do the forbidden thing and get myself stuck in the basement?

It's an interesting game, and I really enjoyed the references to other popular games scattered around the house!

Thanks for playing! I wanted to add a ladder to the basement hole, but I ran out of time during the jam. There are 6 items in total; after finding 5 of them, jump into the basement hole, enter password and then you will see the win screen. I appreciate your feedback!

I had so much fun! Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it

A quick little puzzle game, my only concern is how quiet it is. Some sounds & music would be nice to have. But overall good job on the game, I liked the jokes you put for the various illegal activites the roomate was apparently doing at the house.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I agree with you. I'll try to add them in a future update. I really appreciate your feedback!

Dope! I was going crazy looking for the last one for a while. A little bit of audio would really enhance the experience tho.

Developer

I'm happy you enjoyed the game! I'll definitely add audio after the jam. Thanks for the feedback!

Took me two tries but got there. At first I thought to "destroy" each object I was going to have to do some particular extra step with them but that wasn't necessary. I liked the way some objects were hidden in the shadows, combined with the time limit I think it made for effective gameplay. I actually also think that the way interactable objects aren't highlighted works well for this game, it makes you want to double check various objects, which makes it feel more like desperately searching through the apartment.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! at first, I actually planned to make a system where players had to do something specific to destroy objects, but I couldn't finish it within the jam's time limit. maybe I'll add it in a future update. Thanks for the feedback!

It was funny I liked the codes like USA - Gun jajaj

I didn't quite understand however what I had to do or how to get out of the basement of the locked room.

Developer(+1)

I'm happy you liked it! First, you need to find the password. after finding 5 objects related to hints for the final remaning hint, you should go to the basement.Let me know if you need any help!

This literally happened with my buddy Eric. That guy owes me.

Pretty fun game! I quite liked the amusing (and relatable?) theme and it was funny to see what each code wound up referring to. Perhaps would have been nice if there were a few more lock-and-key puzzles, as I thought those were fun.

Good work!

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed the game! In honor of your friend, I'm going to name the roommate character Eric. thank you for your feedback!

Really fun. I liked how I had to get better over multiple runs (something you could integrate further, perhaps), and I thought finding objects was really interesting. It had an odd atmosphere, intrigue, grandeur, and the unknown. But I really liked it. Also, who is your friend?? 😳

Developer

Thank you! at first, I wanted to give players more time, but then I thought a shorter timer would be better. It encourages players to improve over multiple runs, and I think it makes the gameplay more engaging. I'm happy you noticed that! Actually, my friend is a Russian spy involved in some illegal activities, and now he's on the run :)

This was a great play! I also really liked the 3D models. Once day ill learn 3D game dev...

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

thanks for playing! I only modeled the house and the doors. I downloaded the other models from the internet, I should add credits to the game's page.  glad you enjoyed the game!

The randomness was funny. The game ofc lacks depth, but if it was your first game jam, whatever, congrats on uploading. Is it just me or there is no audio?

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot, Yeah this was my first game jam so I mostly just focused on getting something finished and playable,no it's not bug, just ran out of time to add audio before the deadline, appreciate you playing it and leaving feedback!

Brother, schedule 1 and crack pipe, putin and russian ID, USA and gun had me rolling on the ground!!! You have the kind of humor I like! Good job!

Developer(+1)

LMAO thank you, glad the humor hit! that means a lot.

Submitted(+1)

What a crazy and fun setting haha. I think if there were more stepped puzzles like the code with the server instead of mostly finding and clicking, it would be cool

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game .

Submitted(+1)

Great job! The gun over the desk was hard to find as the color of both objects are pretty much the same, but other than that it was a fun game :)

Developer

I'm happy you enjoyed the game. I should have made the gun black to make it easier to spot. I appreciate the feedback!

Hey great job on your first game jam!!! I was about one minute too slow when submitting my game during my first game jam and I was devastated! I think you did an awesome job with the time you had

Developer

That means a lot to me! I learned so much from this game jam. thanks for the kind words.

Submitted(+1)

This was a fun concept! Audio would go a long way in cultivating the spooky/tense vibe, but such is the way of game jams. I can tell you put a lot of work into hiding things, it took me a lot of tries to beat it and I enjoyed the challenge.

Developer

I'm happy you enjoyed my game! I completely agree that audio would have made atmosphere much stronger. Unfortunately, I ran out of time so I had to submit it without sound. Thanks for your thoughtful feedback.

Submitted(+1)

I'm glad some things moved around at least, for replayability. I think you could extend this really well even within the same apartment.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! You make a good point. I had some plans to improve the replayability, but I ran out of time. I couldn't even add sound effects or music before the deadline. This was my first game jam, so I was still learning how to manage my time and scope. I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah really good work. I went first person for my first game jam last year. It's a lot! :D

Submitted(+1)

I love that style and mysterious vibe. The models were cool, movement was smooth and much more.  Also countdown got me bro i litteraly got jumpscared lol. Anyways great job, can you try my game too please? :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing my game! Sure

Submitted(+1)

Cool Concept! Had me running around trying to find everything!
