That's a nice take on the theme ! I like the art with psx graphics, and the clever way to generate NPCs ! The aim is a bit buggy sometimes, but that's understandable as a jam game. Well done !
oh what bugs did you find with the aim ?
Sometimes I'm looking around, and the camera moves uncontrollably and very fast, making me looking behind or in reverse for example. Then I just have to move my camera again, it's not a hard bug, but it makes you waste a little time as a result.
I just hope my client won the race after that
if they're not winning we might have a way of reducing the amount of runners on the track 🔫
Very unique game, felt like a real pro when I managed to win the hard level. This could be a whole series of minigames as a hitman, you should keep making more!
Masking a hitman assassination during the race starting gunshot is such a clever and stylish concept!
Took me embarrassingly long to figure out I had to look down to get the picture and the gun... but once I did it was pretty fun! Simple concept but it works well and it's creative, I like the detail of the target pulling out a gun when time's running low, I was originally looking to see if someone had a gun lol.
Really solid concept and I love the style of the game! A "hitman" game playing off the starting gunshot of a race is really clever. I must admit it took me more than a couple tries to figure out what I was doing wrong with the timing window, but once the concept clicked I had a great time. I was also thrown on my first few tries by seeing an image on the table that looked exactly like one of the runners on the track -- oops... sorry to the race administrators :P
I will say took me a bit to figure out how to start the game - didn't realize I had to hold the mouse down. Other than that cool game love how it looks! Kinda gave me Jazzpunk/Thirty flights of loving vibes
big fan of jazzpunk and brendon chung's games, so glad that you see some if it in there uhu
thanks a lot for playing
Really enjoyed this fun little game! The concept is VERY cool and the art is absolutely gorgeous. Although I kinda wish there was just a few more things to do in the game.
(Took me a longer than I want to admit while to figure out how to start the actual game)
Great submission!
Short and sweet. I feel like hard mode is more fun since there is less waiting around, and it pretty easy to find the target. If you wanted to expand the concept you can make it so that you have more to do while waiting around. Like maybe people move around a bit, you can get caught for staring at someone for too long. I'm sure there are plenty of other ideas that could work.
Great art style, sound design, and game concept. for this jam.
Excellent job!
yeah I definitely had plans for a more complex sequence but really didn't have time for that, maybe when the voting is over I'll come back to the game and see if there's things I can add
thanks for playing the game!
I loved it, super simple, well executed, the faces are hilarious, such a creative art style. I would totally play more if it had more places and characters
Okay, once I figured out what to do, it was very fun, even on hard mode.
I would have loved to have more hints on what exactly it is I should do. I didn't realize there was a table until my 4th attempt. And the timing window for the shot should maybe be a little easier to hit.
Other than that, nice visuals and good work :)
When Guess Who meets Hitman 47. Funky idea, I enjoyed the game, also the "starter" gun dynamic is a nice touch.
Cool Concept, but I didn't catch how to spot the killer
sadly didn't have time for any tutorial, there's a table with a gun and a hint on it
