Really cool idea! I was impressed how well the pathfinding worked, and I liked that I got to place the spells on the specific 'beat' that I wanted to either spread them out or go for a dash in, dash out combination by bunching them together. Really nice! If you continue developing it, adding some music and having the character make their movement on the beats would probably feel great!
Very novel idea and good execution! There's definetly alot of room here to optimize spell placements and create devastating combos. Game Jam obliges, there's a lack of feedback (especially taking damage), and the auto pathing movement can be quite enfuriating (i died once after a combat because i had 1HP and the character decided to path into a spike!) but there's plenty of meat on the bones for a game made in such a short jam. Good stuff!
Nice take on the theme, great and cute game art ! It has potential and I can totally see it as a full game with lots of levels and content !
I liked the concept. It would have been nice to have more content, but it's understandable for a jam game. Very nice presentation.
I just kept playing it. It is addictively fun and has so much strategy behind it in deciding which ability to put where. Really loved this one.
super creative and well-made, i feel like the way the numbers are displayed doesnt convey the countdown theme too well tho
This games great, interesting you had a puzzle version of this because I was thinking this wouldve been an amazing puzzle type game, wonder why you changed to roguelike?
