Kinda reminded me of a cute version of Frostpunk. Love the idea and the gameplay loop is very nice too. The voxel style also works perfectly.

Yes, Frostpunk was part of our inspiration ! Thanks for the nice post :D

So good! Loved it

Thanks for playing our jeu de gestion !

Incredibly well polished The Voxel art is so fresh and being able too look at the world through your villagers eyes is a great touch.

Played it for quite a while and enjoyed my time, i did run into a bug where the thunderstorm stayed on the map after the event, same with the wall that it destroyed, they didn't de-spawn even though i could build something new on the field. Otherwise a great time, well done to the team!

Developer

We're glad you had a fun time playing our game ! For the thunderstorm bug, it's already fixed for the post jam release but thanks for telling us !

Incredible entry! The voxel magic goes so hard in this one, giving off awesome Civilization mixed with cozy board game vibes. The economy balance feels super solid, and having to strategically budget your months to prepare for incoming countdown disasters adds amazing depth. My absolute favorite part has to be the NPC first-person camera—that was such a cool, unexpected feature that really brought the little world to life! It can be a little unforgiving and tricky to figure out what triggers population growth at first without an onboarding tutorial, but the level of polish here for a jam game is phenomenal. Fantastic work!

Developer

Amazing feedback, thanks ! The population is a bit unbalance and we're aware that the lack of tutorial is a problem but we're working on it for a post jam release.

Loves me an economy builder. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to increase my population in time for the disasters. For some reason I was really delighted when seeing from the little workers' perspectives. More games should do that; it makes the world feel more real.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing ! We're aware of the population problem and are working on a little rework / re-balance for a post jam release.

The voxel art is amazing, and all the systems work in tandem incredibly well. The only feedback is a tutorial, and you're already on that!

Developer

Thanks for all these compliments and thanks for playing our game on your stream !

Beautifully crafted game! 5's across the board :)

Developer

Wow ! Thanks a lot !

The voxel art style drew me in :) That said, adding more tutorials would definitely make the game way more welcoming to new players!

Developer(+1)

We sadly didn't have time to make a tutorial during the jam but that's a request we had a lot so we're working on one ! Thanks for playing !

Incredible game, the voxel magic goes hard in this one. It's a very interesting mix of games like civ and town management, got real boardgame vibes. The countdown theme is primarily in the countdown of the disasters, which might not be the most creative use of it since it's a mechanic similar games already have, but being able to see and judge the amount of months you have to prepare before a disaster adds extra strategic depth there otherwise wouldn't be so it ends up being a nice addition. Not an avid player of these kinds of games but it is fun and enjoyable, only complaint is there should be a more clear explanation of what generates pops and work. Shoutout to the "npc camera" feature, really reminds me of classic RCT and sim city's driving mechanic (albeit less camera spinning to avoid motion sickness would be nice). Very fun and incredibly well polished all around!

I'm not much of a Civilization type game player so I feel like I'm not the most qualified to review this but what I got from my short session of it was rather enjoyable. I think after a bit of fumbling around I understood what my goals were, and I think it's a solidly complex game for the amount of time that you had to work on it. I would possibly come back to it another time after the jam,

This looks stunning and the economy seems well balanced. Well done!

Love the NPC camera, look, and feel of this game. Great stuff!

I really liked this one!! Good resource managment fun! I wish the disasters had like cool distruction effects and like flashes and camera shake and like impactful sounds. Reallky nice thanks for making!!

Really close to being something I'd play outside the jam, I hope this gets a full release/with more mechanics and polish. Really loved getting to zoom in and see the NPC's perspective, no reason we had to include that, but I am glad you did! It was super cool! I think what kept from getting super into it was how difficult it was for me and how many runs it took me to get something that lasted longer than a couple minutes. Especially for the being the "easy" level, it felt unforgiving, but maybe thats a skill diff/because I have never played this type of game genre before. All in all though, I dig it, good work!

The voxel art immediately caught my eye, but I stayed for the gameplay. I really liked the balance between expanding your village and trying to prepare for the next disaster, it kept me planning ahead every turn. I did get caught out by a couple of mechanics at first, so a little more onboarding would make it even easier to get into. Really solid jam entry, nice work! 💜🥰

The art is fantastic I loved it it was incredible how much you were able to get done very fun all around my only note is for me the audio seems to glitch when the hail comes it like slows down the music unusually and makes it pop.

Submitted(+1)

I absolutely adore the art style of this game! Though, the capacity to immediately die if one of your houses goes away when you don't have population stockpiled feels a little silly given that your population isn't zero, they're just working. Then again, I suppose we should've just planned better! Great job on this game!

Veeeery nice looking game, good job :D

The screen shots made me think this was going to be complicated but its pretty straight forward.

Good job. I enjoyed my time with it

Hey! Artist from Flocket Ship and I love the art style here!  The pixels matched with 3D cubes is always a vibe.  Really loved the gameplay and how it looked!
