Very fun game! Great job! My only critique is the lack of music!

This is a very unique idle game. I like having to think about where to place buildings, and how they synergize with each other. Great job!
When I’m playing the web build I ran into some UI misplacements, but I think that can be a me issue.
The game itself is very solid, I’ve seen some similar games about numbers going up in the jam, but this one is the most playable. Watching the buildings go up as well as the number is just satisfying.
Great foundation for a city builder! I'd love to play a version that grew a single city without any countdowns.
I like the mechanic of having this be incremental within a short time limit. It hits the same rush as an incremental game but with this added puzzle level element that I haven't seen before.
Great concept, great visuals, I managed to beat the final level without losing once !
I do have a few suggestions; the sound effects need some work, the loud crashing sound and that beep are destroying my ears even after lowering the sounds by a lot. The game is too easy and strategy is not rewarding enough, it felt like it was mostly about spamming upgrades fast enough most of the time. Also the camera makes it hard to select some buildings when they're surrounded by taller buildings sometimes, and some other times the game would select other buildings through the UI when I tried to upgrade them.
Aside from those points, this is very neat and I'd love to see more of it !
Great aesthetics. I am on laptop which makes middle mouse a little tough.
Really neat idea and execution well done to you! I enjoyed playing this a lot & it's addictive in all the right ways, it has amazing potential, really cool!
This was super addictive right after the point I reached the "I have much gold" moment!
I can see the replayability potential, and a post-jam idea: a global leaderboard so people can really keep at it till the timer runs out and try to beat the high score.
This was super fun, well done!
Really cool incremental game. Nicely fits the theme in an interesting way.
Really needs to have a fullscreen mode. You can still set that on the edit game page. Could also do with more variety. Would also have been nice to have background music, if you intend to continue with development. Pause option would also be good.
I didn't expect this to be so addictive. The 3d world looks nice, it fits the grey-business-aesthetic. Is it on purpose that the clocks in the thumbnail look a bit like the uk flag?
The Good: Fun little concept, fits well, and a cute artstyle
The Meh: No real story, and audio is limited to SFX only, but it’s okay as is
The Oof: I’m on laptop, so I can’t use the middle mouse button, making some bits hard to control and cutting a bit into the enjoyment
Suggestions for post-jam: Alternative way to move and rotate the city without using middle mouse button, maybe add a bit of music, and maybe add a rating system based either on how quick you hit the goal, or how much you earn when time hits 0.
It is a simple concept, but you executed it well! It does get a bit repetitive over time.
Nice fun short incremental game that becomes more of a puzzle due to the time limit. Well done!
Few suggestions:
- A "greyed-out button" typically signals that it cannot be clicked. So I would suggest changing the used colors.
- I think the tutorial text was not needed. A level with only a town hall, one place to fit it, and upgrading it, before the time runs out, should be sufficient to learn the game.
- Maybe keep the game going until the timer runs to 0.00. Then give the player x amount of stars out of 3 depending on how much points he or she managed to get before the time ran out.
Good work! Good concept and good execution. I enjoyed trying to hit the goal before the timer ran out. Fits the theme well, and could definitely be expanded on in the future. I think some more unique traits would be cool, as all of them were based the amount of other towers nearby/on the grid. Good luck!
Cleared stage 6 in 2 minutes! (2:01 actually)
The combination of an incremental game and a countdown works well! It adds a strategic element to incremental game which you usually play without much thought.
Showing the best times for each stage might make speedrunning more fun. Well done!
