It’s CRACK!!! How did you guys make this in just four days?!

Amazing take on the theme!! Epic visual, Epic sound, and EPIC game feel!!!

It took me a few deaths to realize the health thing and that there’s an auto-reload when the crystal breaks and the boss shows up, but once I figured it out, it was an absolute blast! (my best score↓)

Absolute cinema, for a big at the start I wasn't sure why I kept shooting myself but once I realised the mechanic I fell in love. The music and sound effects are absolute top tier but so is the art and the gameplay. The movement is really solid as well as the sheer amount of weapons and how satisfying they are to shoot. There's just so much good about this one.

My only complaint is that the player's health wasn't very clear, like sometimes I'd take damage but survive, yet I was unsure how much health I currently had so a better indication would be perfect. Also the cover art feels a bit disconnected from the game.

I love how the concept plays into the theme, it's such an elegant design and it really makes you super mindful of how much ammo you have. And wow the juice you have with all the art just oozes style. I had a ton of fun playing such a well executed game. Great job!

I love the concept and the art style the animation and feedbacks are really awesome.

I just wish the crosshair would be a little bit hard to see and sometimes gets lost in the chaos, I think a color change would be create. Also the hitboxes of the enemy seem a little small, I could swear sometimes the bullet is going right through the enemy.

But besides that, awesome conecpt and great execution. well done!

After I figured out how to reload properly the game was a ton of fun! Also, the guns felt great to shoot and the music has no right to go as hard as it does!

Definitely could've used a better tutorial section to introduce the concept of the player having to count ammo in their head. I was confused for a while going like 'Where do I see how much ammo I've got??' before I realised that was the point. Once I understood I was all in though. Reaaaally fun game. Fantastic vibe. Charming art, music and sfx. Just a really great job and very impressive for a game jam.

this slaps hard as hell

I was confused in the beginning but after that it became fun

Very epic, took me a while to figure out how to know how many bullets i have, but once i understood it, it was very easy to get in the zone, great game!!

Super sick game!

Great implementation of the theme. Counting down the bullets is an easy enough task that gets increasingly complicated to manage as more enemies get added. There is a nice variety of weapons that keep the game loops fresh. The overall presentation is very well done!

Amazing submission great concept, feel and music. Definetly should be a featured game.

Go t quite far the game gets so weird, best game of the jam so far

Damn the artwork looks SO good, the artstyle really fits the vibe. the theme interpretation/implementation is also very good. great game I enjoyed it alot!

Absolutely gorgeous style that's executed amazingly! Gameplay took me a second to figure out, but once I did, it was great fun

Cool game, very good take on the theme and forcing me to count on my own.

Pretty brutal and the game didn't explain how it worked that much, but after getting used to it i could get to the boss at least.

So far my favorite of the jam games i've played so far.

Very obviously the presentation is off the charts here, this nails the visual aesthetic a lot for a game made in 96 hours, hot damn. The character design on the cover feels a lot like the kind of characters you'd see on early 2000s TV (I'm not really familiar with Panty and Stocking, but that's the closest analogue I have here, I think). Amidst an ocean of people trying to achieve the "Y2K Aesthetic" nowadays, I think the visual style here sticks out in the way it nails the aesthetic while remaining unique.

Also, the actual gameplay is really fun! Counting out bullets manually adds a good layer of challenge & including people saying random numbers in the music is a really funny way to try and throw the player off. It's hostile design, sure, but it's executed in a way where it feels like I'm laughing along with the joke at my expense, and it also plays directly into the main mechanic of the game. It shows the attention that went into thinking about how the player interacts with the core concept.

I think my only gripe with this game is that one gun that shoots a single, easy-to-miss line. Whatever. I just throw it out anyway.

See you in the top 100.

thank you! : D

Is it wrong to say I hope to see more of the Jabber Hog? Because I would like to see more of him.

Here's my score to beat. You can do it. You can probably beat my score shix times.

It was confusing at first, because reloading only triggers when you hold RMB not just click it. But when I got it. it became fun. I've started to count aloud but person in soundtrack've started doing the same and I've lost count. It made me giggle.

Really enjoyed the idea (once I figured out what was going on) With some moar onboarding this could be a really fantastic game! Everything is so stylish and fun!

Great work from everyone!! Really fun gameplay and art, with a clever use of the countdown mechanic to boot. I loved the duck weapon the most.
