interesting mechanics and nice music
I went to play the game for a quick bit, and before I knew it, two hours had already passed!
wow! thank you so much!
Very nice choice of music, the game is smart but a little too hard for me. I really like totally homemade games. Good drawing, good coding, good fun. GG!
Thanks! It does feel really good to be able to say we did all the art and music ourselves
Very creative! the music helped a lot! Great work!
Thanks!
I enjoyed it a lot! Some of the levels would be tricky enough even without invisible slimes. I bet you could make good puzzles using these slimes and towers. Really liked how the music was in sync with the gameplay!
Yes, we were planning to make better levels, but ended up spending the last of our time bug fixing what we already had. Nice that you liked it, thanks for playing!
I really like counting beats like that, so I enjoyed it quite a bit xD Very creative and nice take on the theme! Great work!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for playing!
Really neat take on the theme! Engaging, especially for me as a drummer, trying to lock in and keep time to tell when the slimes will arrive at their intended destination. Great job on this!
Thanks! It's really cool that this reminded you of drumming :D
Really good idea! it mixes a rythm game with puzzles!
Thanks!
Very creative theme implementation! I loved the idea of counting down the music beats while playing a reverse tower defense. I also love the art style and the pleasant music. I can't wait to play a future version with sound effects!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :D
Really fun idea. Having the turns be in sync with the music made it intuitive to keep track of the slimes. Great stuff.
Thanks! We wanted it to feel kinda rhythm gamey.
This is a neat little puzzle game. I love how the gameplay is carefully introduced to the player and how the star rating works! Makes it more fun to replay, cause you can just go for the bare minimum win, then master it later. Nice one!
Thanks! The stars were nice because it made making levels a lot less scary since people could always go for few stars so difficulty wasnt as much of a concern
This was really fun. I was concerned after the first level that you could just count the difference in tiles to know when to send multiple slimes in and blow them all up at once. But then the attack towers really changed it up and having to then navigate the shield slimes was a lot more overhead to keep track of. Very challenges and a unique idea I have not seen yet in the jam. Well done!
Appreciate it! coming up with a lot of things took a lot of time so we're glad you enjoyed the variety :D
OMG this was so fun! One of the best games yet!
thanks :D
Super creative way to turn the theme into a mechanic!
Thank you!
Cool idea
thanks!
Very very good idea of counting beats fits the theme very well! Loads of levels, and it introduces new mechanics on the go!
Thank you so much!
Super cool game! The music really helps with the timing, which massively increases the fun level imo.
Thank you so much!!!
Made it to level 20. The controls were a little awkward but It was satisfying to pull off a blind combo.
Woah nice! Appreciate you finishing it!
Reminds me of Nintendo DS Rhythm Heaven! And really creative idea of the slimes becoming invisible!
Yeah! I've thinking about rhythm heaven a lot recently
Interesting interpretation of the theme. I like the combination of puzzle elements with rhythm game mechanics. I feel like new slimes could be introduced a bit faster (especially for the game jam context) to ensure everyone gets to see everything you made. Good job!
Thank you so much! appreciate the feedback :D
