This is really good! I'd genuinely love to see what a full release of this game would look like.
I think adding multiplayer, expanding the mechanics, introducing more features, and giving it a bit more polish could easily make this feel like a game you'd find on Steam. It has a lot of potential.
Awesome work, and I hope you keep developing it!
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me.
I'm actually planning to keep developing it! I want to add lots of new cards and mechanics, multiplayer, and polish the game even further. Because of the server costs, I'm hoping to release the full version on Steam in the future.
Thanks again for your kind words and encouragement—they've given me even more motivation to keep improving the game!
Great game! Do you have plan to release multiplayer mode in future?
I'm actually working on multiplayer! Considering the server costs, I think it'll most likely be released on Steam instead of itch.io.
Very creative and a unique take on the theme. Great work !
Thanks!
I cooked those manekins, great game its super creative and very well done. I'd love to play a multiplayer version of this with friends, the idea has true potential
Thank you so much!
Great gameplay idea! And a good idea to split the game into three different rounds. It's a shame there are only three :)
The only thing is, it would be nice to have events or cards that manipulate the deck or the cards in the players' hands. Because the strategy of holding on to one safe card until the end is too effective.
But within the context of a jam, it plays great!
Thank you so much!
I'm actually working on adding more cards with new effects! I'm planning to add things like reversing the turn order and swapping hands to create more interesting decisions and reduce strategies like holding onto one safe card until the end.
Thanks for the great feedback—I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
It’s a fantastic game. It kind of reminded me of *Buckshot Roulette*—and I’m a fan of that sort of thing. I really liked it.
Great visuals.
The theme really hit the mark.
It maintains tension perfectly.
10/10—I really enjoyed it.
If you decide to develop this idea further, I’d love to see 1v1 multiplayer. A real player makes mistakes, which can lead to funny moments and stir up emotions for both the player and their opponent. I’d also like to see an extra card slot; the "this one or that one" choice is key here—deciding "I'll play this because it fits, but I'll save that one," while a new card might immediately trigger a game-ending event.
I’ll say it again: the game is wonderful and very well made.
Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoyed it.

Well, coming up with such an idea is quite remarkable.
Very unique.
Quite a complex game.
I'll give the creativity a thumbs up.
That's one of the best compliments I could receive. Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoyed the idea and appreciated the creativity behind it!
this was a really great spin on the cliche bomb countdown game!!! i enjoyed the art and the sfx, and i had fun playing it (even tho i suck at it lol)!!!
Thank you so much! I really wanted it to feel like more than just a typical bomb countdown game, so I'm really happy that came across. I'm glad you enjoyed the art, the sound effects, and the game!
I liked this! I only made it to the final round once and get got totally turned around immediately and exploded. I wish that there were checkpoints; Since the ai knows how to play, once the number is low enough it turns into a game of who draws the bomb first which can take quite a while if we both topdeck 90 degree turns 50% of the time. (Maybe the number should count down every turn to keep the game moving? Maybe the tension is the point!)
The moment where 2 more people sit down on either side of the table and you realize that the rules already accommodate them and the implication of tracking the multiplications and the rotations and the modal cards *three times* was scary! I think if I got back there again I could reverse engineer the turns from the discard pile, which sounds fun.
Well composed game with a couple impactful moments, I would finish it if the first rounds were quicker or there was a checkpoint at the third round.
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback!
I actually added the +1 cards as a safety mechanic so the game wouldn't get stuck at "1" forever. The trade-off, though, is that matches can sometimes last a bit longer.
Reading your feedback gave me another idea. Instead of only changing the number directly, I could add cards that apply countdown effects over the next few turns. For example, a card that makes the bomb tick down by 1 each turn for a while, or one that doubles the next countdown effect. I think mechanics like that could make the endgame much more exciting, so I'd love to explore them in a future update.
I'm also planning to add checkpoints after the rating period ends so players don't have to replay the early rounds every time.
Thanks again for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. I really appreciate it!
Incredible concept! I'm very bad but a lot of potential
Thank you! When the theme was announced I came up with several ideas, but this bomb game was the one that immediately felt right to me. I'm really happy you can see its potential!
Really fun game. The art and audio design are really strong. Going back to the first round each time you lose is a bit annoying as the second round is definitely the hardest.
Had a great time with this.
Thank you so much! I'm planning to add stage selection after the rating period ends so players can jump straight back into later rounds. I'm really glad you had a great time playing!
genuinely love this game, favourite in the jam thus far! incredibly visuals, really fun concept, this is amazing!!!
Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot to me. I had a lot of fun making this game, so I'm incredibly happy to hear it was one of your favorites in the jam!
Really cool idea, It's like a buckshot roulette but with a bomb.
And art style, really good.
Thank you! Buckshot Roulette was definitely a big inspiration for the atmosphere. For the visuals, I took a lot of inspiration from Return of the Obra Dinn. I'm glad you liked the art style!
Fresh concept in the style of hot potato. Love it!
Thank you! I'm actually Japanese, so I had never heard of Hot Potato before. I'll definitely look it up. Thanks for introducing me to it!
awesome
Thanks!
absolutely LOVE the visuals here. really cool game concept, definitely something i can see myself spending hours playing
Thank you so much! I'm already imagining an update with lots of new cards and mechanics, so hopefully it can become an even deeper game in the future!
Very creative idea and fits the theme perfectly also very cool shaders
Thank you! I'm really happy to hear that. The shaders and post-processing were the parts I spent the most time on, so it means a lot that you noticed!
Very cool concept and fun loop, but I would like to skip the starting text if I just want to rush through the rounds:)
Thanks for playing! Some people have asked for that feature, so I'm planning to add a skip option in an update after the rating period ends. Thanks for the feedback!
