How does your game fit the theme?
Every level has a limited number of moves. Each move advances the wolf, sheep, and mastiffs at once, turning the puzzle into a countdown toward capture, escape, or failure.

Really clever little puzzle game! I liked how every move advances the whole board, making me stop and plan around the dogs instead of rushing. The quick undo makes experimenting with different routes feel very smooth, and the pixel art is lovely. The ending reveal genuinely made me laugh too—I definitely wasn’t expecting the “completely legitimate sheep-grooming operation” to pay off like that. Great title pun as well!
really good puzzle design.
visuals are really put together.
i don't know if its my spec or the game is slow actually, but had a input delay.
Gud job!
The pixel art is so pretty and pleasing to the eye, the game's loop is pretty creative too although i found it harder than it looks. Some sfx to the sheep and the dog would've been nice and more immersive. A pretty well done game, great job!
I liked the story and the pixelart is soo good, The fact that there are night levels also is a huge plus. The music is lovely done and in general is a well done game. Congratulations!
Cute art and cleverly arranged levels! Liked it!
Thanks for your review, mate! As soon as possible some of our members will review your game as well!
really nice pixel art! and the concept is really good, i love playing the villain in games ^ ^
I found the game kind of buggy though, I wasnt able to quit the level to retry if i failed, and ended up just closing the game and reopening it. but that wasnt a dealbreaker, i think its overall such a sweet game! :D
Thanks for you review!
Yeah, I kinda spent a lot of time refining some details instead of finishing everything... Then, the programmer hasn't enough time to fix this minor bugs -- shame on me. But it was our second jam, I'll manage my time properly next time to deliver a most cleaned version for y'all guys!
Besides that, I'm really glad that you could appreciate this a little bit. And as an artist, I'm really glad that you appreciated the visuals!
Super interesting gameplay and the artstyle feels homemade and warm. If i had a nickel for every top down, pixel art sheep based puzzle game in this jam, I'd have 2 which isn't much but kinda odd it happened twice. Anyways, great job!!!
Thanks for the review, frogger3!
I played another 2 sheep games, there's at least 3 of us in here xD
Don't run sheep, wolf just wants to cut your hair!
If only the wolf knew how to speak sheepish :(
I loved the art. The cutscenes were beautiful, more like pixel paintings. The sprites were great, especially the different seasons and environments. Sometimes, waiting on the NPCs to move made me feel slow, especially once I had a plan to beat the level. I appreciated that if none of the NPCs are planning to move, you're able to move much more quickly.
Also adding a level editor is so awesome, it really blew me away that you included that in a game made in 4 days!
Thank you for the review!
Yeah, the slowness is something we didn't really have a solution for in time; the animals still need to have a clear order of movement.
Our sole developer is really cracked for making that editor; all props to him.
Really cute game! You can tell a lot of effort went into it, and the idea and atmosphere are really charming.
I did run into some bugs though — for example, when the dog caught me, the game sometimes froze and I had to restart. The game could also use some clearer instructions, since some parts were not very intuitive.
Still, it’s a fun and creative project with a lot of potential. Great job!!
As classic programming goes, we left the UI for last and couldn't implement it in time haha.
Thank you for your review!
I loved the idea of a turn-based game in which you sometimes really have to think through what your next step will be. The game is easy enough for people to understand and get a hold of. What I absolutely loved was the artworks. The wolf, sheep and the dog with the environment. They look impressive and stunning. The audio does with the pixel theme of the game and the game didn't bore me even after a while of playing. Nicely done, loved it.
Responsible for the audio here. Still a long way to go, but happy to hear your thoughts on that!
Shoutout to our sound engineer, Tikara! (He's also an amazing artist and programmer).
I was able to get this to run on Linux using Steams "Add a Game" and setting it to use Proton 9 for anyone else that may need this information!
I enjoyed the art, especially the cut-scenes. I was a bit confused by two aspects:
Maybe I missed some information somewhere as I am not sure what the win condition is?
When escaping with a sheep it gives me a "Retry" screen indicating I didn't complete the puzzle.
Despite those critiques, I did enjoy the game and I played every level and even messed around with the level editor. This is a strong entry!
Aye, mate! How are ya?
Thanks for your detailed review! I appreciate the time you put on it. I'm really, really glad you enjoyed our art.
It's our second Jam so we had a few problems with managing time (me, particularly). Therefore, this resulted in the problems you're facing:
1. We should have added a couple of introductories levels explaning the mechanics... but the idea was to get a sheep at a time.
2. Probably a bug on your end... we should have tested more to find it.
3. The idea was to give a reward if the player find the shortest path... Like, a single star for completing the level and 2 stars if find the optimal path. That is the puzzle.
Despite those minor issues, I'm glad that you enjoyed a bit!
Scope is a major challenge for me as well. It does get easier to manage but at the same time, as skill increases so does the ceiling for what can be considered "in scope".
So, I think its just a never ending battle.
I loooved the interlevel cutscenes. I had a couple bugs on me about inputs, but it's gamejam! <3
The puzzles were just forgiving enough for me who's not too clever. I am just a super massive fan of the theme and set dressing. I can tell that you're just an incredible artist and I'm going to have to keep an eye on your arts.
Thank you so much!!!I tip my hat! xD
Hello! Thanks for your review!
I am really glad that you loved the cutscenes! I put a lot of effort in it!
Yeah, I spent a lot of time into polishing some stuff into the artstyle and it ended with the game having a few bugs... haha! But it's our second Jam, we will learn with that and the next game would be better!
Well, I do not like to brag but I've been doing some really cool stuff. Actually, we are four artists practicing pixel art every week and we are producing some interesting pieces... Maybe we will post them into a profile or something!
Cool idea; the howl art style and vibes are cool
did have a few problems with the game freezing on me, the ui bottons somthimes not working Maybe because I use an ultrawide screen
Gives Duck Hunt vibes Good few levels
Thanks for the review!
I overscoped and kinda didn't manage the time to finish the levels properly. Shame on me.
However, I'm really glad that you could enjoy the few levels that we had and the artstyle!
normally not my type of genre but it was enjoyable
Thanks for your review, mate!
