Nice little game! I didn't realize that I wanted to be pressing the buttons to count down the large counter at first, but it made more sense once I remembered the story. I actually quite like the vibe with the story -- counting down to a celebration-sort-of-thing while in this sort of sinister environment, it's a nice bit of contrast. Pressing the buttons is satisfying and it was nice to see them used in both the platforming environment and the boss fight.

The controls feel like you keep sliding around so it was a bit hard to hit the jumps at times, but it's a neat little platformer with a bossfight that I had to repeat a few times to finish! A fun game, but could use some work to get rid of the bugs, as I encountered a few (running left at game start throws you out the level for example). Keep it up!

I love the little sound effects and the story! The button presses were a bit difficult to get the hang of but it was so much fun nonetheless!

I like the idea and story behind the game. I would first look to improve the game feel like feedback for certain actions (button presses and death) which some sfx may help with to start with. Art was charming too. Good job!

The game music also does not loop.

I didn't enjoy falling down and needing to repeat a section. But you threw in a checkpoint so that was fine.
