Lovely charming art style, I would love to see a full dungeon crawler like this! These are the type of games I see myself coming back to post jam to see their progress and continue playing!
This is a really interesting strategy game! Being able to see your opponents’ cards means the game isn’t so much about trickery or cleverness as it is a straight-forward battle of wits, which I like.
I found that with multiple enemies, it could get a bit clunky, though. Your cards can only affect certain enemies which really affects your ability to strategise, and because there aren’t all that many cards, it often just turned into a battle of attrition - which I don’t think is what you were going for. A bit more freedom with how you play, as well as variety in available moves, could make the game a lot deeper!
(Also, it’s understandable because this is a jam game, but - some music would really help for a prolonged experience like this!)
Nice work!
Really cool concept! The shared countdown timeline makes planning each turn feel very different from other deckbuilders, and choosing the enemy order adds another nice layer of strategy. It took me a little while to fully understand everything, but once it clicked it became really satisfying. Great job! 💜
I like the timeline mechanic and the way it opens up whole new kinds of builds. Unfortunately the screen with the Mana count gets cutoff for me on my laptop so I cant strategize as much as I would like. I still enjoyed it though. It also could benefit from some music and having more feedback from your plays.
Really solid game and creative interpretation of the theme. I enjoyed my time playing it!
Very interesting game! This is actually my first card game of the jam, but it was definitely a unique take on the theme. Great game!
Was fun, took me a couple of tries to understand the mechanics, but I like the uniqueness!
I really liked your game! basically I would personally have included a tutorial to tell the player exactly what to do, because I had slight bit of trouble, but once i got it down it was quite nice and creative.
Relly fun to play, I love the ambiance, it feels pretty polish for just 4 days. The only thing is the UI doesn't scale right to my screen and is a bit little. Overall great game and has potential for more !
I love the aesthetic, the skeletons remind me of the “The PlayStation Can Produce Mind-Boggling Effects” image, and the timeline card roguelike is a very cool concept! It’s like a combination of YOMI Hustle and Inscryption :D
Placing cards on a shared countdown timeline adds such a clever layer of strategy to the deckbuilding loop!
Very solid!! Cards could use some clarifying on when on the turn to play it effectively on the countdown. Great use of the theme.
For people weary of downloads I can confirm it's safe and worth the play!!
